LF-> Low rate Pre-trans server with very little customs

Hi, I'm looking for pre-trans server with no/little customs.

For example: No OP donations, no wings, no NPC-for-everything, I accept healer, warper, and so (if there's no reset nor jobchange, the better).

Overall no f*** up mechanics like some server who picked mechanics from unknown sources and seems unbalanced and unproductive.

Hi. There are not too many pre-trans servers around but from those who are around I think the best two options are either OriginsRO and SimplyRO.

I personally like OriginsRO settings better because:

*The rates are 5x. Simply Ro rates are 3x which seems a bit too low nowdays...
*OriginsRO offer episode progression.This means that OriginsRO is not gonna be pre-trans server forever but it is currently a pre-trans server and will be for quite a long time. (look up more info in website)
*OriginsRO has no donation items at all.

Try Elaria RO, i've been playing it the last couple of months and i'm liking it

it has all what u said except the reseter npc which is available for free the first time then needs a lot of zeny.

You could always check out Origins RO.  It's a server that pretty much fits your description perfectly.

• 5/5/5/3 rates.
  
• No custom items.
  
• No donation items.
  
• No warper/reset/healer/jobchange NPC.
  
• Episode based patches where new parts of the world is introduced slowly.
  
• Current episode is pre-transcendent.
  
• Master Account System that lets you use one login for multiple game accounts. (And shared storage across accounts.)

The downside?  The server is pretty small right now, and there is no WOE currently going on.  But, join, bring some friends, and get it going again! ;>

OruginsRO is rather incomplete for my taste (due to how the server follows the original chapters), a very weird item database/drops (mixing old and new content) and will eveventually implement trascended.

About SimplyRo, the mechanics are too weird for my taste, even if they say thats how Ragnarok was in that episode, it just sounds wrong for me.

Well, then you are on the same path as A LOT of ragnarok players nowadays. You want to play RO but you are not desperate enough to play on a server which settings you don't like.

We could probably help you better if you told us what exactly mechanics "sounds wrong for you", and what server are you refering to in the past which had those mechanics right.

Well, basically my idea of a classic server differs from the official view, because for me, a classic server is just how eathena was back in the day where it started becoming popular: around episode 9, when trascended were really rare and incomplete, but the mechanics were already what they are today (of course, some changes have happened between that years and just before renewal).

Something like what oldschool-ro.de was back in the day.

TGRO is a classic server. We have custom headgear but can be obtained only via quest, only to promote farming.
We are not yet officially released, but as soon as we finished testing out WOE packages, will be up by November.
We do not have wings, there's no enabled option for donation, we have healer and buffer with cooldown.
And yes, we are inspired only up to episode 9.

If you have teammates/clan, you might be interested at trying our Free Guild Package trial before the official launch.

Well, I'm back after trying SimplyRO for about a week. Nice at start but then I realized it's not a server of my likings.

So here I come again, I'll bring a more detailed explanaition of what I'm looking for:
- No trans classes Must
- Nice timing for central Europe (UTC+1/2) Must
- Balanced mechanics modifications (episode 9 prefered) Must
- No weird modifications for the sake of donations or OP items/specifications Must
- Populated, or small base with high motivation on advertising and bringing new players Must
- New content adapted for pre-trans Optional
- Few custom NPC Optional
- Modifications for promoting partying Optional BUT it may not affect the class' ability for solo'ing.

I still think SimplyRO is your best option. It does not only have the most player of all pre-trans servers but also the best thought out mechanics.

OriginsRO and TGRO have been mentioned already too...

There aren't actually that many more pre-trans servers, though one showed up quite recently: Asian ClassicRO

I think that summarizes all the existing pre-trans servers at the moment. The others you can find on RMS all seem dead (website not working).
So if no trans classes is a must you can only decide for one of those four it seems.

Not really, you already know I disagree. But anyway, the server location and the future woe times are bad for me.

Assian ClassicRO seems to be like OriginsRO, starting from the beginning.

I'm sorry to say, but you are basically looking for something that doesn't exist. If they did exist, they would have been posted already. Your options are in the posts above you.
