[Renewal Blows]

...so I tested out renewal features on several servers...at first it was like "OMG the priest isn't a hge pile os suck anymore" then I played a few classes and found out only one was any good. After-cast crippled any active skill reliant classes...which is almost all of them...what used to be the most non-passive skill reliant class (the sin) has been put out to pasture because whenever it looks cross-wise at an MVP the MVP comas the poor bugger. Which leaves one class, the Ranger, who can fire obscene numbers of arrows from across the the scene thereby making them impervious to coma plus they have 2 death machines attacking in concert...possibly moar depending on the server...and skillz that once you have acquire 30 Kiels from your guilds botters will allow you to do the best damage in the game from range. The best part is you get to work like a dog for over a week on any class before you realize you are wasting your time because only once class works.

Suffice it to say I am going back to pre-renewal while I work on a server for a friends website. Unlike the other idiots who are making servers I know that new does not equal better.

Anyone that knows a good HR (because I like to find out quickly if I am wasting my time) server that is pre-renewal kindly point me in the right direction. I'd use RMS's server ranking system but when all the reviews amount to "omg the server is so uber that I have 50 simulanteous orgs whenever I log on and my guild that has legions of bots at its command gives me everything there is to get in the game"

Log on...walk to the mall... buys an awesome ro hat that used to take weeks to months of insane dedication to make...it is in a bin labelled free to any idiot who doesn't want to wear fugly customs that extent girth and lenght. Z/Z

Yeah, Renewal is garbage. That's well known to a lot of players, which is why most servers don't implement it.
