This review will be about TrashRO, a fairly new (16 days) low rate server.
Server ratings (11/12)
Stability:
So far, there weren't any unannounced downtimes. (6/6)
Availability:
I didnt had any error related issues with the light installer, though I heard from other players that they did. Anyway with the full client being online, there are barely any error related issues. Maintenances are announced on the homepage and in the forums. Reloading of scripts while the server is running is also announced by the GMs.(5/6)
Game Master ratings (17/18)
Friendliness:
I've talked a lot to the GMs lately and all of them are friendly. Hosh is rather the playful one of them, though he acts professional if the situation demands it. Hayne is the most professional GM, he always stays calm - though he isn't distanced in any way. He communicates a lot with the players, and tries to implent all the serious suggestions.(6/6)
Availability:
There used to be three GMs but in the past only two of them have been active. Hayne is the most active GM, you most likely seem him once a day - though sometimes he's bussy and you might not meet him ingame. If thats the case you can just use the forum to get an answer fairly fast. He's also often ingame, but AFK - anyway once he gets back you get an answer. Hosh isn't that active but he always stops by on the weekend, even though he's not getting paid for being GM.(5/6)
Helpfulness:
If they are on and not AFK, they'll help everyone with a serious request.(6/6)
Community ratings (8/12)
Friendliness:
Of course there are diffrent kind of players, but most of them are friendly. If you tell them that you are new, they'll explain you the most important things. Something that really helps is, that you aren't allowed to speak any other language than english in the maintown - prevents "minorities" from being left out. It lacks of players though.(4/6)
Eventfulness:
The players are rather lazy, aslong as there is no real "GMmade"-event. They rarely try to rush endless tower, or hunt MVPs just for the hunting itself. There are some small active groups, but in general they keep sitting on their butts.(4/6)
Game-play ratings (13/18)
Economy:
There's a mall where you can buy the most of the usefull stuff for a few zenies, so Zeny itself is rather worthless. Another currency are mithril coins, but since the server is new there isn't any real economy.(3/6)
Guild competition:
There has been one serious WoE lately. Right now there are just two main guilds so the competition isn't that great.(4/6)
Class balance:
There are no 3rd classes so its pretty much the same as on every non-3rd-cls server. There are some donation items but there's no way that they are overpowered, in addition you can get all the donation items via voting, playing BG.(6/6)
Overall (49/60)
I really enjoy playing on this server, simply because its made to WoE/BG - not having issues with camping MVPs nor do you have to farm if you don't want to (Headgearquests). You also don't have to level at all with being level 99/70 instantly.
