I've seen a lot on Arcana, and I've witnessed many attacked, trolled, and many forced to leave this server. The player's control the server, and the staff is nothing more then a figurehead of sorts. The staff is definitely not fit to run anything more then a mere sandbox to say the least. They are immature, and ruthlessly abuse power. The "elite" players are definitely not "elite" and act as if they're all so powerful when really they're using items not accessible towards normal players. James, the administrator, is nothing more then money crazed, and his intentions are definitely crystal clear. That's not what I am here about, however. The proof I have is a pigment of the corrupt, biased, and unfair part of this establishment.

UVG stands for "UR VRY GUD". To sum them up they're players who have gotten all of their items from GMs, and control the server. They badmouth everyone and act as if they're from Anon which is very pathetic. All in all, they're NOT VRY GUD. Lauren is on the GM team because she screws one of the two Administrator's Isaac. Isaac is a "banhammer" who bans the wrong people, and leaves his friends on the server. James is almost useless as is Mike. Casey is a corrupt player they allowed on the team who was later released for being one of them (corrupt, and cheating; it's all the same, in the end.). Basically, the public found out about her. The GMs sit in town and @nuke everyone for fun, and act like complete fools. They also attack, and verbally abuse players, too!

* The donation items do not refine to +8. I find it funny items are slotted at 4 when that isn't possible without GM's creating them. Unknown items? Very clever (not) cover up to not include the card (which isn't a card a player could get) that is slotted into a gear which can not be slotted. Also, with the card drop rates such as these it's very interesting how almost all of the player's of the staff have Ghostring cards. Finally, the donations upon redemption DO NOT name them after the character. Obviously, a GM has given them to those players. Orgasmatron is the guild leader of UVG if you're curious whom that item's attached player name is.

To be honest, that doesn't surprise me. James' features on his server comes from eAthena's script releases from other people. He then takes the scripts, changes a few lines to make it seem different then the original (the NPC dialog, mostly), and calls it his own. It's quite obvious when you can find many of the same scripts on his server on eAthena with the same glitches and bugs. Furthermore, it takes him forever to bug fix anything because I'm guessing he doesn't test the scripts he steals. Let's not forget he has admitted to owning many servers, and recently claimed that he knew Arcana would probably not last by the end of the year.

I'm not sure if what that chat log says is true, however, it wouldn't surprise me if he did sell it off and still psuedo-"spearhead" everything in a sense. It could be phony though. Thanks of the additional information, however.

Count yourself very lucky. Most of us make the mistake of giving it a shot. However, in the first five minutes of being in town you'll either see loudmouth, attention crazed, and unfriendly GMs mouthing off to eachother or their "friends" they cheat for, or you'll be spammed by the faux "elite" players.

OR.

You'll hear the players "joke" with the Administrator who claims to be black although he doesn't even sound black unless another black person is on ventrilo. They throw tacky racial and sexist remarks at everyone all the time. Then, James will sign in and they'll throw the KFC chicken and nasty profanity at him. He doesn't really seem to care so I guess it's alright, but it isn't for the others who want to actually play the server without having a brick wall of spam and immature profanity.

Oh, I forgot to add: Arcana actually had a very large community, and they've got several stories but the entire pinoy population and a few strong guilds left, as well. They pretty much lost a majority of the community and I'm sure it's because the vast majority of the public found out about things the staff did not want them to find out about. Isaac was just mass banning everyone and of course because either him or one of his "friends" got thrown under. He never bans for the right reasons. James doesn't know how to pick his Administrators, in fact, he use to have an Administrator who would get high and would sign on and abuse commands against players and pretty much do what he wants. I wasn't surprised to find out about this. Money is the root of all evil, and James is milking the money train until he can't. In the end, it will all mean nothing because without the community there will be nothing investing into the "money train".

He must of forgot: "Well, he forgot when you have defeated the final boss of the Elite Four you must face Gary. That is where he went wrong."

Wow, my gear is so op. Look at that +4 Valk Armor with Observation that leaves me open for freezing and stone cursing, not to mention Asura and Acid Demonstration. Oh, and Variants that took all of thirty minutes to obtain with a a few COMPETENT players. God damn, those are some nice sunnies. I'm sure the hundreds of maya purples we had to farm as well as the weeks of effort we put forth into taking that castle from a guild five times our size doesn't justify us having one or two in the guild, huh? @Surgation - While I'm happy for you to come here and "destroy the thread" with your evidence countering what was said in the review, you're pretty much proving the OPs' point about the abusive community with the amount of personal insults you've thrown out in your post.  Had you kept your cool, your post might've been quite a decent one. I won't need to make any further posts; my first one said it all. Also, you're jumping the gun and generalizing based solely on what I said. Just because I'm "abusive" (I'm assuming you've never had anyone lie in order to get you a bad rep for no reason before or you'd think otherwise) doesn't mean the entire server is. I rarely have time to play anymore with college and all going on, and I only confront those who say something first. This person decided to lie on James, not to mention he's being racist; he doesn't deserve my respect due to the aforementioned reasons. Sure, you can say I'm confrontational, but I'm just calling them out on their BS.

I've proven everything they said wrong. The only way you can say otherwise is if you assume I have clones of myself roaming the server. An ego boost isn't what I looked for in that last post, either. If you paid attention you'd realize that castle is the one you must hold in order to effectively farm Maya Purples. They talked so much crap about the good cards we have, acting like we needed GM assistance to get them. NEGATIVE. We worked for our gears just like everyone else.

Hope they learn to be truthful in the future.

This thread seems to be more of an attack towards ArcanaRO than anything. This player has not played this server long enough to spout all of these remarks.

Indeed James does not sound black. BUT that doesn't mean he isn't. Do I have to use "La" and 'fobby' english to have you know that I am asian? The GM team is as far from corrupt as they can get. Lauren was on the team prior to 'dating' Isaac. She is also a long time player who has been there since ArcanaRO first opened. Actually, you know Devil Square? Yea she scripted that stuff. James probably does take the scripts of eAthena, So what? How many servers don't?

These "elite" players you speak of. They aren't persay 'elite' as to the gears or builds they choose. Don't get me wrong, their personalities aren't up to par. But the way the play the game is far much better than your average player don't you think? Doesn't this have you step your game up? The fact that you get killed every single time or you can't even participate in a Woe, a Koth, or even PVP efficiently? and the fact that they call you lewd names? You'll find those type of people anywhere you go. Shxt, you'll find them in real life, in your work places.

There are some pretty good players on the server that both have good gear and play it well. If you don't have the tactics and the skills to play, what's the point?

And this server has never had wings. I wouldn't be on this server if they ever did. although it has a lot of great 'custom' head gears.

Every server is different, I've been here for a good year and a half. And I'm still treated like shxt sometimes but I have great friends on here. That's why I'm still here. And it's one of the best servers I've ever played in my 8 years. Other servers lacked in something. And this one has all the right parts.

The poster, I've spoken to you in game. And I am not on your side. Your post or rather attack is faulty and lacks evidence. If you really want to know Arcana, play it. Honestly, we're all friends.
