"It it by far, the best server that I have ever been to." 

I've had my fair share of RO game time over the past decade and I've been through a lot. From huge P2P servers to the hardcore donation servers, and to the mild, casual and role-playing types where the minimal amount of donation is needed. All are different experiences but all of these are the same Ragnarok online game that we've been playing. But it is in Vanhild where I can finally say that I have found a home.

Even though I've only been on the server for less than a month, and the server itself is near to celebrating its 1st month since it has opened, the experience still does not seem to be on comparison to how long you have stayed in the server because it gives you that feel that you wouldn't want to go elsewhere.

From character creation to reaching max level, the experience is a journey. It is more than just your typical RO game. Although the server was endorsed to me as a PVP/WoE server, I got a lot more from questing and hunting of your gears in order to be strong and to have an edge when competing out there for the agit. YES, QUESTS. This server boasts a lot of quests, and reasonable ones at that. This is probably the potential I have been speaking about because the main town, Caspen, itself has dozens to offer and I wouldn't want to spoil any of them just yet because I wouldn't want to rob new and interested players the excitement of discovering new things. 

WoE/PvP/Battlegrounds are always on the go, with people continuously seeking to establish themselves as the lords of demonstrating one's RO ability. Meaning to say, it is alive. The quests does not eat them, nor the other way around. It was made in such way that they complement each other! 

The community is diverse and friendly toward everyone, and especially to the new players. Looking for a guild will be easy because all of them are looking for new talents, members at that, just in time for everyday WoE.

The Game Masters are ever present and makes sure that everyone's needs are taken into account and that those who only aim to do wrong to the server meets their just punishments. I can definitely say that they have everything figured out and they always look up for each other because they too, know the server's big potential.

The economy is quite balanced, even for a midrate. I haven't seen anything unreasonably priced because imo, the rates themselves are reasonable and everything can be hunted. 

I heard and have seen that there're already lots of donators in the server but they are not overpowered to an extent. Of course they have the advantage of getting the good gears easily but eventually time would catch up with you if you don't have any $ to spend irl but have the time to appreciate and indulge yourself in Vanhild. 

Overall, well... I am not sure what else to say.  But one thing's for sure, I just wanted to tell the rms community of how great this server is and I hope that you also get to try it out one time or another.

Hi. Thanks for the wonderful points you've raised and allow to me masterfully debunk all of your frustrations toward Vanhild by starting off 1 by 1.

1. Advertising in more than one category
a: the links couldn't be seen. It might've been removed but nevertheless, since you've used the argument on having floating rates, I don't really know what the jurisdiction of that would be but if you aim on demeaning a server just because it was advertised wrongly (really? is it such a big deal when a booming midrate server is listed too at high rate you're gonna wuss about it just for that? smh).

There are better things to worry about but I'm glad that you have a lot of time to do research.

2. Advertisers (admins maybe?) are reviewing their own server & 3. New accounts on review thread. Legit?
a: I sorta know that this is a 'crime' or has increments in rms but if you are questioning my account, which apparently was created in 2009, and this is my first ever post since then, then I'm so sorry to burst your bubble that  I am in no way affiliated with the developer/owner/gm of the server. I am just a player humbled by what the server had to offer and I kinda found my way again in rms after checking my emails regularly and I for one, would really want others to try out the server in all honesty because I saw its potential.

But then again, points to you for bringing that up and for having so much time just to make Vanhild look bad... again? (I have no idea, the server is pretty much new to me)

COME ON. Why the hell would an old and failure of a server go back again and repeat the same mistakes? I read the topic and in the defense of the owner/developer/game master, IT WAS THE FAULT OF A CORRUPT GAME MASTER which they hired that caused the wreckage of the server. It would be very stupid and dumb of them to commit the same mistakes, especially with what they have now.

If you are trying to say that because this has happened before, the giving away of free items for reviews, etc (like your keen eye for 'illegal' advertising and stuff), you sir, are making an unfair justification, and a fallacious one at that.

Why not try out the server? The NEW VANHILD, THAT IS.
I'm really trying to point out that if there is a game master as dedicated as rebuilding what he had before which fell from a series of misfortunes external to their team, why waste time and effort in developing the same server over and over again? It's because they are passionate of what they do and they know their potentials. It's a pity that people like you judge servers, or other things, with such standards. You deprive yourselves and other prospective players the chance to be part of something amazing, of a new server experience, of a new Ragnarok feel.

It's new for a reason.


Re: the Facebook page. If I already have a Vanhild page with many people, of course I too would like to invite my old players into this rebirth of the server because they too were once my customers. I really find this not a big deal at all.

Typical reply, I don't expect any people on the server actually would put good arguments.

But since you put on long answer, I'll respect that, so I'll reply with long answers as well.

1. Links were junked before I finished making the thread, ask Triper. The argument of floating rates were made because Vanhild advertised on TWO sections, which is not allowed. It's not in the wrong place, it was advertised in MORE than one place which is against the rules.

2 + 3. I did not question your account, I questioned those I put on my threads. Why did you get so agitated? Also you don't seem to post often, so I'll assume you just registered this account only for sightseeing, and for unknown reason you came back only to put this.

The legit part of your account is that it's created in 2009, when Vanhild wasn't up (old Vanhild was on 2011). Your posts don't seem so. You have only 4 posts and half of them are here. Also, the remaining 2 posts are not visible on your profile, which I assume, got deleted. And you know RMS doesn't delete posts just because they're old. There's a reason for post deletion.

Edit : aw son, you only have 2 posts it seems and it's all here. Now your account is 100% eligible to be questioned.

4. The threads got deleted (ask Triper again if you want) because it was mainly advertising to gain post count and advertising in other subforum is a no-no.

5. I got what you want to say, but basically Vanhild's arguments are just "forget the past and move on". They can't even justify their actions and they make the same mistakes again.

All their people can say is that it's a different server, it's better or stuffs like that. Oh come on, it's the same Vanhild, alright. The linked thread showed up how busted they are and there's no reply from the people anymore.

Thanks, I was able to see the links and was able to understand to the gravity of the situation so here's my piece of the pie about that:
Maybe it is because those who had posted about the server were either too happy with the server, just like me (but I'm still better and more articulate than them  ) or that they really don't know what they're doing, hence you are there to moderate the forums and stuff. So, good job to you for doing that.

But I really don't understand that wrong advertisement-placement would be tantamount to what the server has to offer. Such externalities have different variables which are affected by human, players' at that, mistakes when we just want to talk about the server.

If the advertisement was put wrongly into two places, shouldn't it be that one of be deleted and we just move on? I believe that other servers too also commit the same mistakes in a pioneer/transitory/reboot period and these really, do not translate to the other good points of the server. Again keyword here is externalities

But then again, Kensei, that's my counter-rebuttal for #1 too. So yeah.



2. + 5.  Again, I DO NOT have the luxury of doing a history of Vanhild Ragnarok Online and making fallacious implications that the server  (or on any server at that ). I was supposed to make an account on rms forums but my email address already had  an account registered to it. I used that and it was dated four years ago. I can't even remember why I did that in the first place so meh.

It's really hard to argue with you if you are not up to any suggestions because you only believe that you are right. I understand where you are coming from where like "The mistakes of the past can be repeated" But dude, srsly come on! Justifications? I thought you were very active in your history of Vanhild thread? I readily got the answers from these base off of your research and they said that the previous Vanhild was corrupted by an another Game Master which they hired. What more justification are you looking for when that is already as explicit as it could get? smh

Of course me, and the other reviewees too will say that it's a different server because 1) it is far too different, and better than any other servers that we have tried on so many different levels. It's a shame that you would've really made a good criticism had you not been so arrogant and confident with what you put up, even tho your grounds for demeaning a server, a rebooted/new server is really superficial. You assume that you put up good arguments because no one from Vanhild is replying? Simple. You used  "Stuffs." lol /sry

I really hope you understand that forcing a server with a bad name before and asking people to second-guess it, or not try it at all is unruly and unjust to new and old players alike. Let us be the judge for that. If they say that it is new, then let us take what they have to offer. That is all.

I am a little hesitant too with the review that I made because there weren't any examples put up but to the rest, who are also reading the thread. I really think that the best way to understand where I am coming from and what I am trying to say, is to try out the server.

or else I wouldn't have gone out of my way to post here. I just don't want a very limiting review as compared to the experience that is Vanhild RO.

All i know is this: i am currently playing Vanhild Ragnarok Online. and i really like it?
Isnt that enough for a server ? for it's players to like playing it?
What happened to playing the game ?
