TalonRO looks pay2win but it's actually balanced and promotes farming

There are servers that deserves more love and they truly dedicated to bring the best RO experiences. They dont care about donation.

You just have to make sure your waifus never finds out about laifu the other waifus (after consulting urban dictionary). Just like you don't create your RO experience based on donation incentives.

TalonRO is the best, definitely. The only reason i quit is due to high latency to my region (SEA). Same goes to other top listed servers. My local servers mostly is underpopulated OR high rate OR pk/pvp server (idk why Malaysians like to compete with each other, whats the deal, man?), or if from neighbor country, will be mostly pinoy-laden. I dont understand tagalog, unfortunately.

If only the admins of the top servers consider to use proxy to SEA region, because I believe this part of the world is one of those with big RO fanbase.

I actually tested proxy servers with players from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines a while ago. The ping was basically the same +-20ms.

I spent about a half year playing on TalonRo and i was "enjoying" it until the end, but the biggest turn off was the god damn gold coin shop.
Some items had a fixed value, the market is s***, farming for a specific card is not worthy, you're on the safer side to farm zenies on sleepers, gefenia, mavkas or whatever and purchase the gold coins then.
That's simply killing the spirit of RO.
If you're in need of a hydra card, you're not going to kill hydras, no, you're earning zenies and use the s*** gold coin shop.
A card for 5 gold coins can never be more worth than 5,5m because the gold coin shop offers it for that amount, i hate that.

But i had a great time afterall, it's not my goal to s*** TalonRo there, i just wanted to leave my opinion about the gold coin shop and wish you a happy new year.

That may be the case for a select few items. Most items, however, are selling for less zeny than you would have to spend on getting it through the Reward Guru.

Taking your Hydra Card example. This card sells for 10 Talon Coins at the Reward Guru which equals about 11.5 million zeny. Now, a quick look at our WhoSell page tells me that there is a Hydra Card currently being vended for 3 million zeny. So while the Reward Guru functions as an upper limit for some items, most of these items simply don't get affected by it. On top of that, we haven't added any new equipment items from after Episode 11.3. We're on Episode 14.1 now, so any equipment items since 11.3 until 14.1 have to be farmed.

This is the main thing that's been keeping me from coming back.  That and lack of parties that aren't end game related.  Dunno how it is now but with a dead/stagnant WoE scene I rather play 3 month life span servers at this point.

lol this has to be the funniest thing I've read all day. The problem is not getting invited into an ET party but the fact that you think the sinx class would be useful in ET.


Reroll to a class that would not be a waste of space in ET!

SBK sinx could be OK in talonRO thanks to Kaho, berz, and good/decent (?) dagger weapons.  It's easily outclassed by a well geared sniper though but it should be workable.  Also potential PDodge mobber maybe?
