This is a 99/70 server with no leveling and no hunting. Talking to the Job NPC will level you up for free, and all equipment is available for free via an advanced NPC in Amatsu. There is no donation equipment, but there is event equipment which is not really more powerful or useful than equipment that you can get from the NPC. Consumables like potions, acid bottles, etc cost zeny according to their going market prices on iRO chaos server, but you do not have to do anything to obtain zeny. Zeny will be provided to you in a trickle whenever you are playing. This server is mostly about PVP, but we have a few GMs around making different events.

My first day here was long ago, almost one year now. The server had a wee population of 30 or so players at once back then, and things were good. PvP was active, players were nice, ganging was being cracked down upon, it was fun. Then, months later, the Admin disappeared. GM's started to abuse the ability to punish gangers by punishing players who killed them, attacked them, and sometimes just on a whim. Verbal harassment in PvP occurred regularly, people were rude, egomaniacs, ganging was everywhere in the FFA room, and things really sucked.
Then the Admin came back a couple months later, and everything started to get better. Gangning was cracked down upon again, the abuse stopped, things went back to normal.
MyRO is virtually lagless. Many players are very nice, there are multiple spoken languages of the population, and surprisingly not as many dee bags as you would expect from a pure pvp server. There are regular events and active GMs both in game and on forums. Pvp combat is pretty unchanged from iRO. Even so, all the classes are regularly played and regularly fight defeat each other, with no class seemingly favored over another. The instant level 99 and item vendor is awesome. Nothing makes me hate RO more than having to level up and grind and search for weeks to get 99/70 trans and get gear just so I can enjoy pvp. I love that I can just jump right into pvp with no trouble at all. I also think it is great that there are no MVP cards. I love having access to so many items as well. You can have a pvp set and then some items just to make you look kool, for free.
One sucky thing is class like whitesmiths and biochemists and some other classes suffer from the "trickling zeny".
basically as you play you get zeny steadily. but it comes in so slowly that you have to play a different class for several days
(EDIT: if you play 3 hours or more a day then you'll be set in less than a day, if you don't, then it WILL take a couple days likely) before being able to buy catalysts in large amounts for some classes. The same goes for potions and foods, since the consumables and catalysts are not free. but if you ask me that is a very minor drawback.
All in all the server really good for pvping 99/70. If you wanna test a build or just pvp, and not have to have the hassle of leveling and farming for weeks or being out matched by donation items or MVP card owners, then this is the place to go. i would recommend this server to anyone who loves to PvP. easy to download, easy to get started. I dont think it'll happen, but if you decide you DONT like this server, then at most you've wasted 10-15 minutes to make your character, and not weeks or months.
