Pokemon Ragnarok Review

Hi Everyone,

Me and my sister just started to play this server and we wanted to tell the community our experience and how fun it has been so far.

[Introduction]
It has a very attractive introduction. Players start in a custom map where they must access the in-game computer and it brings up server information and changes. It tells you a little bit about the server, their goals, and what features they offer. Most servers we play before there is not that much attention to detail when it comes to interacting with the player. You get a freebie pack and get warped to the main town and expected to pick up the gameplay by asking many questions or looking at forums. This server teaches you all about the server as you play through it and teaches you lessons along the way. The main town is custom and it is very nice with a big ash statue. The NPCs are organized and easy to find. We noticed that the server gives you a Pokedex where you can access anytime for additional/more information as well as quest log to show you what you have to do. It tells you to talk to Brock, the first gym leader and the server also makes it easy by making the NPC location on the mini-map. I do not know many servers that spend the time to make sure every detail counts like this one. 10/10 for introduction and attractiveness.


[Personal Gameplay]
We have had nothing but joy so far. Whether it is fighting the gym leaders and progressing in the story line, or competitively hunting for MVPs and rankings, there is lots of things to do in the server. Players are rewarded for MVPs/PVP/WoE. The rates are fair and we like that it can be adjusted by players who pay small fee. It is not hard to get to level 99 and the card drops are very fair. It is 10% for regular cards and 5% for MVP cards. Server also has cash shop where players can purchase field manuals for leveling faster or bubble gum for additional drop rates. It is a 4 slot equipment / 2 Slot shield server and I like that we can customize our headgears to whatever stats we want and also the looks. We see some people will super saiyan aura walking around, and others with nice hats that they offer. There is over 200 pokemon in the server, many people in town have different kinds, it is very cool to see. They also help you in battle to fight monsters ad mvps. This server has great customization and features. They have custom commands, custom vending system, custom pet system, and lots of convenience for player. The warper is also very good because players can see their last warp and save their favorite warps to certain maps. This is the best server I have ever played. It is very balanced, not too hard, not too easy, and we have never played any server like this before.
For those players who have no tried it yet, we welcome you to come play with us, it is amazing and we have nothing but good things to say. 10/10

Overall Features
Very happy with the overall features that the server offers. There is competitive MVP, PK on all maps except for towns, and the WoE and PVP is still little bit slow because the server new, but we try out the system and it is very good, it just needs more players. Server also has pokemon wandering random maps, where players can search for their location in the pokedex. They also have a safari zone where players can go catch pokemon. One of their new additions they added was MVP pets. Sometimes you wish you could walk around with a powerful Ifrit or Randgris, so it is possible to get MVP pets as well with pokeball. Server has good currency and economy. Many other servers have problems with overpriced items/money issues/donation OP. In this server, all currency can be obtained by working hard and donators do not get super unfair advantage. All items can be obtained by all players. This server uses zeny, poke dollars, and poke medallions. All of these currencies can be traded up for the higher form of currency and also there is currency exchanger where the currency can be reverted and go backwards. PokemonRO also have custom vending system where players can vend for zeny, poke dollars, medallion. This is great system that they offer and players can vend basic items, pokemon pet eggs, MVP pet eggs, etc. We really enjoy how the server is well made and planned.

[Final Statements]
We have played RO for many years, but this is one of the finest servers we have ever experienced so far. They have nice website that is easy to access and navigate, it is very professional. The admin is knowledgeable and fixes many problems right away. They also have many guides available for players incase they need help. Hopefully this is the start of an amazing server, I think it has only been one week since they open, but we are satisfied playing here and will continue to play here for a long time. For those players who have not tried this server yet, you are missing out! It is everything we wanted in an RO server. Good RO gameplay with very good implementation of custom storyline.
