I have been Playing this server for three weeks now. And this is all I can sum up.
Score: 77.5/100
Server
Stability (8/10): Almost Lagless
There are lag spikes sometimes but it is playable MOST OF THE TIME.
During my first week I noticed they often do reloadscripts so it lags. But when everything got fixed up they never did it again.
Availability (8/10): Always up!
The only bad thing I noticed with availability is when they do maintenance. They always announce when they do maintenance 2 hours before.
WOuld have been better if 24 hours before.
The server does maintenance during midnight of GMT+8. Sometimes they always extend the maintenance type for an hour.
THe server is always up and ive havent experienced a single server crash.
Security (7/10) Somewhat unsecure
There is no existing Guard against hacks or so. But I noticed how the Staff checks on players. They always watch for bots and stuff.
In time they will probably get their own gameguard.
Game Play
Economy (6/10): Kinda Sucks
There are few people who actually buy items for zeny.
Normal Cards drop 10% of the time
MVP Cards drop 3% of the time.
Some MVP Cards drop rate is 0.01% like FBH card and GTB
Some items,like Orlean's GLove, has a very low chance of dropping.
Most people hunt their own items. Most items on vend are very rare items.
Zennies are used on events so its not really useless.
Most supplies can be bought at the mall.
Guild Competition (8/10): SO SO
There are few players so there isnt much fun during WoE. There is an average of 3 guilds fighting for an Agit.
Each guild has 2-3 members killing each other. WoE is "Kill breaker,kill support, wait till they come back then repeat.". Treasure Boxes drop Bullions.
The use for it is still unknown. I asked the admin what it is for, He told me it will be used for certain quests and features.
Guardians are useless because players over power it. It is possible that they will edit it when there are alot of people going to WoE.
Class Balance (8/10): GOOD
There is a high Sura count in game. Possibly because getting GR card is a challenge. Most Classes are useful. Although EDP was set to renewal EDP, GX cans till kill with they're skills.
Tanker classes can be really hard to kill because Ygg stocks are high. I havent seen a single support type player in the server.
All classes has its ups and downs which is really nice for a high rate server.
The Admins always try to balance the classes. The Admins are currently changing every skill to renewal mechanics.
So far theyve done Spiral pierce, Gravitational Field, EDP and venom splasher.
Customization (7/10) not really that customized
There are custom story line quests that will really kill your time. As for item customization, There are no Custom items, just reedited items like third job headgears.
The customization isnt really imbalanced.
Community
Friendliness (9/10): Very Friendly
Like most servers there are those who would just really ignore you, There are those who would gladly Help you out, There are those who would rather hunt that sit in prontera.
I find the community friendly. When I first came here with my friends, They immediately welcomed us as soon as we said we were noobs. They even broadcasted our names XD.
The players would gladly help you out with the items you need and will point you to the right direction. Just dont expect them to get the items for you. They'll help you with your starting items. Thats what happened to me.
Eventfulness (7/10): So So
There have been a few events since I started playing at DeviantRO, but sadly,
I've missed some of them because of previous engagements (ie, school , home works , more school! ).
there's Automated Events such as Disguise Event (one of my favorite
) Novice vs. Zombie Event, Find the Treasure Box Event.
There are weekly special events hosted by the Admins. These events lasts a week. The last event was The Box event. We had to use zeny in order for us to have a chance to win
Very Rare items. as far as ive seen, the community really liked the weekly events.
Game Master
Friendliness (8/10): FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE
The game masters are just as friendly as everyone else because they are part of the community, but they also have
the same fault of being extremely limited in number.
There are 2 GMs and 2 Admins. Pixel (Admin) is really nice, He just have a really short temper and too much ego. He doesnt go online as much as his co admin but when he does he
checks everyone out.
Lightning (Co Admin) is active and friendly. He is in prontera most of the time and responds to player inquiries.
When there is a bug report he tries to fix it as soon as possible. What I dont like about him is that he doesnt use a GM sprite with yellow name.
Aphrodite (GM Chief): Never really seen this GM in game. Probably Different timezone
Shadow (police) is friendly. He isnt really that experienced as a GM but he's got what it takes.
They are open to suggestions like what a GM should be.
Availability (7/10): Available at certain times
Admin Lightning and Shadow is Online 12 hours a day, unlike the other GMs. Although Lightning always goes AFK, shadow will be there to answer questions.
there is @request available for players.
Helpfulness (10/10): HELPFUL
Ive seen a really annoyed player rant about EDP when it got nerfed
From what ive seen to the GM response. Shadow got annoyed and left.
Lightning on the other hand tried his best to be patient and listen to the player.
There really isnt much to tell here.
As soon as you report a bug. They fixed it if it can be fixed.

summation
Deviant Ragnarok Online has its potential to be one of those servers that has a good community and promising RO experience. Stable servers but kinda unsecure.
Average economy. Frequent Class balancing and a SO SO WoE experience. A very friendly community with approachable GMs. GM hosted events are not that frequent but there are automated events.
The GMs now what they are doing and try their best to make the server great.
