AghartaRO - My experience.

Preface: I chose to enter this server with the sole intention of reviewing on numerous areas. Namely, to see how long it'd take them to respond to vulgar behavior in addition to how the staff conducted itself.

Upon first joining the server I created a character named "Tankweesha". Within my first ten minutes of being on the server a Game Master started broadcasting pointless messages globally, and then proceeded to attempting to give me an item (which I refused to take), as depicted in the following screenshots:

I then let said GM know who I was:

And I went AFK for a bit and then continued to level.

When I came back I was greeted by someone I knew in Ant Hell (who will remain anonymous as they don't want to be banned for my review of the server) and I continued to level.

At this time I decided to test GM responsiveness by creating a guild called "Ethnic Cleansing" with the guild emblem being that of a Swaztika. I also then changed my skin palette to a black skin tone, put up a chat in Payon away from everyone else stating that my character was smoking crack. It wasn't until roughly an hour later that it was booted offline and I received a warning from the administrator via message board PM system:

I then spoke with "Tande", who I assume to be the server's owner in regards to my purpose of being on the server and questioned him of his staff's behavior when attempting to give me an item:

Tande seems to be a respectable fellow. A bit too trusting of his staff (I believe everyone has @item?), but apart from that, I saw no flaw in the fellow.

I'll resume playing most likely as a follow-up of this review to see if/how things improve over the next few days' time.

Score Review: Professionalism, Eventfulness, Structure, Stableness

Professionalism: 6.5/10 - From what I've seen on the message board, Tande takes things seriously. I've not yet encountered other staff members so far as I'm aware.

Eventfulness: n/a - I've not yet encountered an "event" apart from my encounter with Futureman.

Structure: In-game setup is decent, but overall the server doesn't feel "complete". It feels more like a beta for a close group of friends than an actual server. The website definitely needs work, as does the forum and Control Panel (default Ceres skin). I'll give a 8.5/10 due to the fact that I had to register on the forums before I ever found the download links, and the organization just doesn't work very well for me personally.

Stableness: 10/10 - No crashes or latency for me.

Once I've had time to play for a bit longer I'll give a more in-depth review. There's plenty that can be improved upon, but they have a great start. They feature a race system from what I could tell and they allow you to change your sprite to a different class, etc. (Please change the "Clothing" items to something like a Dress Sphere. Set the item type to 11, which is "Pet Tame". This will make it so it's an infinite usage item and it won't consume an equipment spot while switching between clothes.)

To add in a few details about Agharta - we are a roleplaying server.  Many things are tailored to such - such as the clothing, different skin pallettes/heads/etc.  Roleplaying servers are not famous for their populations - at most we have twenty people online.

The GM that Justin encountered has stepped down from staff.  That was and will be the only incident of such a thing happening.  We now have three staff members including myself, one who is a techy and the other is a storyteller who does not even have @item.

The reasoning behind the download being in the forums is so that all members must register on the forums and therefore aware of how we do things.  We are a small community, at first who were just a group of roleplayers from a RP server that had just shut down, but we've picked up a few members here and there who were easily and quickly welcomed into the group.  

As for the "outfit" being in the weapon slot - the version of the client we use does not have a working sprite error ignoring feature.  It was originally featured in the accessory slot but we continually had weapon sprite errors that we cannot do anything about until we choose to update our client.

PS: I want to thank you for this review and pointing out the issue with that GM.  I do not and will never be offended by someones opinions or views as long as they are well founded, and I can see what issues you've had so far probably have made Agharta look foolish.  No worries, I know who you are friends with and he's an awesome person too!
