Just recently changed hosts, was about to give it an 8 until they changed it, now I don't lag at all.

Community: 8
According to a friend of mine, on the very first day they had 35 people online (it was a weekend), now the average is 15-17, depending on the time. A very good one, people are helpful and funny, I haven't met a boring person so far! It didn't took me long to enter a guild, since despite the server just opening, people are already hiring and such, there are 3 well formed guilds so far, all hoping to meet you and call you and ally.


Events: 8
There are like, 10 different automated events? Its amazing how creative have the GM been, you get the good ol' Catch The Poring and Dice Event, but there is also this one called Treasure Hunter, which is actually quite fun to play with. All events award cans(think of them as Poring Coins), the difference is in the amount. GM hosted events so far have been improved versions of the present automated events, but still its fun to play.


Economy: ??
I believe economy is a parameter that should be reviewed after a month of the server's opening. So far, people have been hunting their own stuff and such, however yesterday I witnessed a friend giving a Hunting Service, he has 3 requests and growing, so I guess its a good start, lets see how things are one week later. What I really liked here is that Mavka doesn't drop her stuff at 100%, so its not your generic "Mosco Hunting" server, if you want to rank up your zeny, you will either need to work hard or be creative, this a smart choice of the Admin, as even some of the top rated servers have been having problems due to this.


GMs: 10
Now this is where the server shines bright, each GM knows what to do and they are very good at it, the GM Moderator is quite polite and friendly, the Co-Admin gets the server's updating and bug fixes very fast, I myself had problems with the client at the start, and despite my poor explanation on the issue, Tyx knew right away what to do. It is quite amazing what Immortal has done, she has indeed picked the best of the best to form part of her team, all the GMs here are quite expierenced, some come from closed servers as well, which to me is a great thing, as they are already familiar with what may make the server fall and what not, allowing them to plan ahead and such. And one last thing I love is that there is no ambiguity, they make sure to be as clear as possible, the GMs never had different opinnions between them because they like to discuss each topic, no matter how relevant or irrelevant it is, as a group and determinate the best answer considering all the points of view. I am looking forward to this server's growing, and I can already see and expect respect from the GM Team towards the players in the representation of hard work to keep it balanced and exciting.


Custom Features: 7
This server has very little custom, the most you will see is colored headgears, since you can carry one headgear and dye it to another color of choice. They are currently working on a Hat Disguiser, which will give you the looks of one headgear, while having the status of another headgear of choice, feature I am sure most of you are familiar with. To me this is a good point, since I don't like wings or the such, I like the style of the original RO, but for players who actually enjoy a lot of custom context I am sorry but you won't find any here.

OVERALL: 9.

He could not be more right. This server is perfect for a guild, group of friends or solo players looking for a brand new place to play. Balanced donation system and custom items are awesome aswell as the headgear dyer which is awesome. The head GM on the server is awesome too and is always easy to get a hold of and very active and non-biased. This review is pretty outdated tho becuz the server's community and economy are totally booming now but there is still always room for more growth on this still developing still fairly new server.
The events i would rate a 10 now too because there are events always all day long and a custom games room which is pretty cool. WoE is still developing on this server but it is very competitive and very fun and exciting. If ur looking for a new server there is absolutely no reason not to give this 1 a try!

This deserves a bump.

This is a great server, and has the potential to be excellent. It's only downside right now is the fact the population has declined, and because of this the economy is unstable and the guild competition is nonexistent. All it needs is an influx of new people and it will flourish.

Besides the current lack of people there's no reason this server doesn't deserve your consideration. The ability to re-rebirth and the MVP and PVP ladders (with rewards for rankers!) give players reasons to continue playing once they transcend and give them ongoing goals. The donation system is balanced, and you can even earn donation items in-game without donating by killing MVPs and participating in events and saving up for them, which actually gives me MORE incentive to donate to this wonderful server.

The GMs are friendly and helpful and on top of things, and all problems are fixed incredibly quickly when they come up (not often). There are daily auto-events (multiple types!) and there's also a "mob race of the day" feature where a new daily mob is chosen and whatever race it is for that day, you get bonus exp for killing it. It's all the little things that add up to make this a fun, enjoyable server, and the fact that the GMs are intelligent, polite, fair, and good-humored is awesome.

I've been playing for a few hours and my first impression is the community here sucks. I needed some help starting out, so I asked if anyone would be able to heal me or tank the hits while I casted for a few minutes in payon dungeon, and either no one says anything, or I receive private messages from idiot kids failtrolling.

   Sorry you had to run into the "idiot kids" first off.  I would love to have screens of such behavior so disclipine could be dealt with.  We have a few that have recently become completely out of control and are trying hard to get them back in line.  We also have several that go above and beyond to help those with question or in need of help.

Hope you didn't let them completely scare you off.

Several month of playing High Priest on Best-RO, currently involved in one of the bigger PvM guilds on the server.

Review:
The only non third class server that has found a balanced way for the donation system without adding OP items.

Somebody on this server clearly asked him / herself:
"How do I add to the game without influencing the original game balance?"

And they did it well. That what is custom is on custom maps, if you want... you can play classic RO on this server. What customs they do have are rewarding but never over the top, and always located in custom maps created for this purpose (refinery, mall, game room etc).

GM activity is high, if they're not ingame then they're on the server's Ventrillo. The fact that the GMs are not allowed to have ingame characters shows that this server takes honesty serious. Sure there's some drama, but let's be honest here... RO and drama go together like cherry and pie.

75x75x50x rates, but boss cards are still 0.03%.
Trans only, no third classes, expanded classes available.
Regular updates.
Scripted events as well as hosted events.

This server really is set-up great, it has all the potential it needs to become "the next big server"... It just needs the people. Having started up fairly recently, it only recently found itself listed on RMS.

We spent a great deal of time working on a system for acquiring "donation items.  I am sure it is one of the most complicated systems around but I have very strong feelings about people being able to "buy" success in the game.  There are too many players who truly cannot donate rather it is due to lack of disposable income or not having access to PayPal.

ALL donate items are available without ever making a monetary donation to the server.  I know people will not believe it, but for me this is not about money.  The Valhalla Golden Tulip (VGT) is used to purchase "donate" rewards.  These VGT can be collected in several ways including donation, voting, MvPing and events.  MvPs each drop 10 Crushed Cans (CC) and all in game events reward Crushed Cans as prizes.  These CC can be collected and traded for VGT.

Donation, $1 USD = 10 VGT
Vote, 2 banners every 12 hours  = 1 VGT (per banner)
Crushed Cans,  10 CC = 1 VGT

Hopefully this will clear up any questions you have regarding our "Donation" rewards.

This server's "Donation" items are purchased using a certain amount of custom ingame currency (Valhallah Golden Tulips, as explained by Immortal). This currency can be obtained through 4 ways:

1. Donate
2. Vote
3. MvP
4. Events (both scripted and hosted)

The clear advantage obviously being that donation will get you your items faster. For instance: Obtaining a slotted lower headgear would involve obtaining 200 credits. This is equivalent to 100 days of voting (50 if you manage the timetable), killing 200 MvPs or participating in 50+ events.

Note that this is the most expensive donation item, other items cost anything between 20 and 150 credits and include things as huge flywing boxes, bubblegum and packages that enable certain commands for your account.

This system applies to all items, hence every item is available through all four methods. I felt this needed to be put abundantly clear and from a player's point of view.

It is costly for the server's owners, but extremely fair to the players. There is no game imbalance caused by the varying depth of member's pockets
