RivalRO - Adminstrator threats to ban because RMS review.

This is just a quick one.

There was tons of racism towards USA/Canadian community and GM team did nothing. 1 Member of my guild decided it was enough for him and would quit the server. So he went review the server because he didn't wanted anyone else get hurt.

30 minutes later of the said review was posted, [GM] Rain (Adminstrator) starts asking around who was Rillen (Member of my guild who posted his review). Since I knew him I decided to talk with him and the following happens:

Later that night, some other persons felt the same and posted some bad reviews aswell, (None from my guild) , yet this [GM] Rain comes talk with one of our members again.

Even though this server is like 1 week old there is tons of stuff about this GM team. This is just 1 of them, more might be to come.

the first review was deleted because we actually wanted to stay in the server. someone of my guild might still have screenshot or copy pasted into a .txt (might me posted soon if anyone has)

got the answer the told me after i garrented that it would be deleted

checked like 5 minutes ago and now i'm banned/account deleted from forums atleast

Much of the truth, I'm also from Rival and I suspect a bit of favoritism on Rain's part.

A German guild was accepted for a Guild package that contained a large amount of older (day one) players, that were rejected the guild package before hand. (This is obviously against the rules of Guild package as it is pretty much an established guild with a new name.)

This is a really powerful GP for a 1 week old server and as such it is pretty needed for a guild to participate in WoE

Screenshot of the GP page, High Rollers is basically a guild of people that were previously a guild called "Halt die Fresse Club" and were rejected for being a day 1 guild, in the admin's negligence (or bias) he blindly accepted the new guilds application.

Avalanche (mainly a US/Canadian guild) saw this and asked for our own GP, we were rejected and accused of a bad review on RMS and that this would cost us our GP, we would only receive it if we removed the bad review. It was not one of us whom posted a review, this was after the first review (removed due to threat)

As silly as it is to reject a whole guild from pretty much playing (or competing) because of one stray bad RMS review is silly, I honestly think the Admin of this server strongly prefers European players and has a hard time trusting US/CAD Players for whatever reason it may be.

I honestly felt like a 2nd class Citizen in this server, any suggestion I'd post (even if it got positive reviews) would just put put on hold (ignored) 3 days later. While European players suggestions were accepted and implemented on the spot, any resulting outbreak from the North American Section of the server was ignored (This happened with dagger/instrument switching, which was removed so you could Instrument > Instrument, a lot of NA players did not like this but Rain said it would only result in flames to put it back. even though changing it in the first place caused some havoc.)

Obvious fake reviews have been posted since our own reviews.
Giving a 10 for Guild Competition when WoE isn't out yet is a little far fetched, no?
Economy a 10 when the server is brand-new and the 3 Currency's have not balanced yet, this is obviously a patch-up attempt probably brought up by rain himself.

PS: I was also banned from game and forums when talking to Rain about his Bias.

that guy got already kicked out of the gm team because many other things, thanks to point out that he stole everything. another gm from equityro already contacted us about another thread he stole, we immediately removed it. we will do the same here and apologize to talonro for this behaviour of an already gone former gamemaster.

i dont want to get too deep into this conversation since i dont know many facts about it, but high rollers and seduction theory were both guilds from the first day and got the guild packs - high rollers for example just the sunglasses since they already had everything else and it would just have ended up in the market - which is not part of the guild package. we wanted to give every guild the same start. however this case is not running for avalanche, since they are just a pvm guild from divinityro and not part of the standards we set for the guild package, applying with a random video from a third class woe server isnt the thing we wanted. and guild packages have the purpose to stimulate woe se, not pve equipment packs 4 free.

Wow that is really rude, just because our guild assembled and WoE'd together on a 3rd class server does not mean our playstyle is bad. If you watched KoE results we won almost every time (until we stopped trying because of all this drama) 3rd Job WoE is a lot different then Trans, which you know, with enough common sense, you'd understand that. Just because our guild hasn't had a chance to WoE in a trans server together does not mean we should be excluded from GP! Stop denying the fact you're bias, you obviously think of this guild higher than us, ignoring all sources except a simple video which you've taken an opinion or bias to as well.

And another thing, if you're going to start knocking playstyle you've already made another rule for us that did not apply to the other guilds. (AKA, Bias.)

I don't see "I have to like you" anywhere in that list. We're a WoE guild and we planned to attended as soon as WoE was released, and we WoE'd in the past on other servers, hell we even regularly attended KoE which is believe it or not... NOT PVM!

Come on guys, we're not a PvM guild, we're the RMS Hall of Shame police guild.
Among every other thing this server did wrong, denying a guild package to a guild just because they were there on day 1 and "have an advantage over new players" is retarded when the server has been out for one week.

First reason for denying guild package:
GM Rain: I have great idea, let's punish the players that joined on day 1 by not giving them guild package, it's not like they're more than 1/3rd of the population.

Not to mention threatening to ban Rilien for putting up a negative RMS review, and banning Atog for the same reason.

I wasn't going to put up the explanation but I figure why not. We got tired of the lack of staff in CookieRO, our original server, and decided to try pre-renewal WoE. We moved into DivinityRO, and you guys all know how that went. Got tired of seeing corruption everywhere and we never even got to WoE, because by the time we were geared there was no motivation to even log on. Now we try RivalRO to give it another shot, and every random suggestion on the forums is implemented, the GMs implement a guild package with way too much stuff, and then they refuse to let us have it, but give it to all the other guilds.

Second reason for denying guild package:
GM Rain: I have a great idea, let's give great gears to pro established WoE guilds but let's not help out a guild that came from a renewal server and wants to learn pre-renewal that might actually need the help.

Are there no good administrators left?

Bad guilds stay bad especially when their guild leader isn't competent enough to not get involved with his underage guildies. lol. I know way too much about you Greil.

Anyway, all Ava-drama aside, I feel for this Administration. This guild will do anything to manipulate people, the truth and then play the victim. Come on now. And regarding their "GVG" experience, there's nothing to say because they were too scared to GVG. I would've denied them the Guild Package myself if I had only known how bad they were.

Just my two cents. I'd advise the Administration of this server to ignore this thread. It is the best method you can do. Bad trolls stay bad when they don't have any ammunition and have the mentality of a 13 year old.

would love to know how can you consider us a PVM guild when if you go check the most active people in bg and koe were us

would love to see those rankings before we left... i bet from those top 10 atleast 4 were members of avalanche... 4 diferent in regular or ranked.

and oh... we didn't gave you bad reviews, we gave you realistc reviews, not like any those 95 plus reviews are serious cuz i never though i would see perfection in my life but your server actually managed to do it, so if I may ask can Ratemyserver team check those "counter" reviews with almost perfect score for being realistic because well as I said perfection isn't possible as human and that GM team managed to get 10 10 10 multiple times

oh and about the video... lets be serious you made us get a WoE video on force to apply to that guild package. we said that had .rrf and you didn't even knew how to open so i had to get other server client replay them and record in 1 day... do you actually think we would search for a WoE, edit and all that stuff just to make you happy?... all we had to do was prove that we were capable of WoE (that was the condition). Sorry if our video isn't the usual pile of junk that we see on youtube where guilds only show where they can do anything and not those where are completely raped. We actually showed a vid a full WoE with its best and worse, not some seletected clips

edit: got banned from game too, other accounts was deleted, why? because i copied those forum ideas? i told him that i copied (yeah was my bad for sure but i've edited them and nothing special) them when he kicked me but he was like: "hahaha, don't lie to me it was your idea and now you just don't want to see them", i though meh, have fun man. reason why i was banned as a normal player? after he kicked me from gm team for nothing ("blackmailing", "corrupt" as he said and something more, forgot), as i remember we was trying to decide guild pack and when he told me that he want to implement already valk sets and diabolus i said wtf man? i don't really want to work in a server where this kind of guild pack's - after that message i was kicked out of gm team and btw, mine gpack was 100x better than this one, nothing much like valk items but pretty good items to start competing in woe. ok maybe i was doing my job not really good (but as community manager i was doing pretty good), this is not professional acting from rain. anyway, here's another deal.

I was about to post that it's the same guy from sevenro but I'm glad you guys already know, don't waste your time on this server.
This is the same guy who banned my guild on sevenro simply because we were better than the other guild that played there. So much bias on his servers.
I can't believe how people are still naive enough to play his servers and let themself get screwed by Versus over and over.
Worst server owner ever.

this Rain is such a good adminstrator that can't even check stuff... their vote4points was completely bugged and some people in my guild managed to bypass the 12 hours limit (since we knew other guilds were doing it also)... when we tell him that this was possible he can't even check and act alone... he asks us for the accounts used on this instead of finding out by himself.

oh well it seems this guy isn't new in here by bad management... hope I knew before joining the server and wasting time

So without posting personal information (pm me if you have to), any other hint/link/whatever can show that the two server admins being the same person? I try to whois the sevenro domain but the information is now set to not disclosed.

I can see http://www.sevenro.eu/ and http://www.rivalro.com/ are in fact hosted on the same IP. That's about it.

Anyway, about this topic ... I didn't know RMS reviews would mean so much to a server. It is not my intend to have player banned when they try to speak the truth on a 500 chars space. Server admins should have a bigger heart than that.

The reason I ask about the link between the admin of the two servers is because I see a potential hall of shame GM/Admin candidate. Given all the history that was let go without action:

Choco au Lait here (other RMS user name) i just created this account. Apparently someone logged on my account on here. Edited my post, and changed its password.

(I'm currently changing ALL my passwords on websites I personaly use)

All my accounts on Ragnarok servers held by Versus/Rain got banned, including from friends of mine.

I doubt you'll get any answers from the Admin. Probably best to just change your other passwords, and move on. As many probably know though. RMS has no weight when it comes to damaging populated servers. People will continue to play... until the problems bother them personally.

I have to delete the account of Choco au Lait since he created a new one. The only post on the account is now displayed as a Guest post.

Anyway, can't tell who was on the account other than the owner himself.

I think we are done with the initial problem that was brought up in the first post. The server got punished for banning because of RMS reviews. Other issues regarding this server should be on a new topic. I'll move this to the report section now.
