MuspelRO -email mining this site and spamming for members

MuspelRO is data mining this site for email addresses and spamming join information. I am willing to post here the full headers of the emails if needed.
I gave the server a 10/100 rating which I believe it should stand no matter how much they complain or say its not fair.

I don't understand how they can email mining you, if you don't have your email shown.  I believe there is an option to show/hide email in the forum.  For the site, if you didnt enter your email in your profile, they can't see it.

since you guys deleted my review you would notice my review account is different than my forum account..email as well. my review account is registered with the same email that Im getting spammed by them on. I don't have this email for anything other than RMS rating account. I do not know how they got the email but they did. If you guys wont take any action I will just contact the abuse dept of their ISP and their hosting of the website and server.

Your RMS email was never given to anybody, and it will not in the future.

I have no idea how your RMS email got spammed, you could have used it to sign up for ro server/forum without remembering the names.  Why would you use that email for RMS review and nothing else (and using a different email on the forum, do you have more than one RMS reviewer account?), it's a possibility.

Now, what action can we take?  They somehow got your email and spammed you.  Yet I am not seeing any prove of them getting your email from us.  It's only you claiming you only use that email for RMS review, which I highly doubt.

You may take action yourself by contacting their ISP, it's not part of RMS' business because I don't see how they could have got your email from us unless you posted it out in the open in your profile or reviews then it's your choice.

Personally, I have a few RMS accounts for testing purposes and I am not getting the email.

Those also got the email, can shine some light on where they got your email from.

Somehow I doubt that. You seem extremely defensive of this server for some reason. Yea if it was just me and I had a common email that was easy to guess on a chance I could understand, but neither are the case here. So whats the real reason you seem over defensive of this server? Its yours? Its a friend of yours? Or perhaps a little cash traded places for a email list or two.

Nope, only have 1 account, and at no point was my email ever leaked , I cannot explain why you didn't get it on your "test" accounts but then again that kind of supports internal leak to me. As for RO servers I generally use a temp inbox for the servers to avoid this kind of problem. Also as to why only using an email for here. I normally do that when I question the ethics of the website, guess I was right on this call.

I didn't get any email either, I asked around from the people of my server and none got it.

Would you guys be willing to share your email addresses now, for the purpose of trying to find a patern maybe? (Meaning _Shadow_, kabuki07 & ~EXKillA~)

I don't feel myself being anything overly defensiveness on this server, i am defending my site here.  Anyone come to me to tell me they got spammed because of signing up for the site, i would tell them the same thing.  Because there is no leakage, watch what are you saying.  All your statements are not supported with anything.

If you doubt that, too bad.  I too doubt you only used that email for RMS and nothing else.

Also, why don't you go directly to Muspel RO and ask in their forum.  I have as little idea as you regarding how they got your email in the first place.

I'm not saying that the guy got our emails from RMS, but the guy may have other alternatives to get email address of RO players. I'm just backing up _Shadow_'s claim that MuspelRO sent an email to advertise their server.

any email that is sent to you in a form of an advertisement that you didn't request is spam, yes
I had gotten 4 from them.
Also as for the YCs great reply of "post on their forums" they don't have working forums and their main page says site under work which leads me to believe its not even a completed server.

Believe what you believe.  We haven't sold/given your emails to anybody.  Forum accounts and site accounts are kept private.  If you don't believe us, then so be it.  However, then you also shouldn't believe your banking, credit, loan, supermarket companies as well since they openly sell your email accounts.  I dont see how this is any worse (if you're believing that we're giving out your emails) than what they do.  I personally haven't received any spam email and I have an account under an email address that isn't used anywhere else.

I agree with Riotblade on the companies who do sell your e-mail's, kinda funny he brought that up actually.

I would love to see the proof in your accusation, because I for one, have 7 gaming e-mail accounts, and have not gotten any emails from MuspelRO, though I have gotten e-mails from a server that died who sold them...but thats off topic.

Anyways, before you start accusing, you need proof to back you up, or your going to get @ss r@ped by alot of the community here. Have you ever thought about a keylogger in your computer? Because there are actually people who keylog peoples computers, get their emails, make big lists, and sell them. So even typing it in and backspacing it, makes it so they can get your email, or use it for personal use. (which explains why they got your "e-mail account you never use except for RMS rating", which I do highly doubt, but this is the alternative).
