looks like a poor attempt to circumvent the rules. they're not asking for reviews, but for ones with good enough scores to make the server rise in ranks. after reading that thread I'd really call for a delisting.

Super Awesome Event?! What?! When?! HUH?!

Okay, calm down. As of this writing, Luminous RO is currently rank #11 on RateMyServer.net. My goal is to get us to at least Rank #5. However, if we rise in that listing by 1, and we stay there or higher for at least two weeks, the staff will hold a SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME event! The closer we are to #5, the more SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME the event will be. Of course, we will definitely announce it on the forum if this happens, so be sure to check regularly! So, what can you do help? Why, you, the player, are the most important aspect in all this! Simply go to our server page and write us a review! The higher we rise, the better the events will get, and the better the events will get, the better the prizes will be! Don't worry! Almost everyone can be a winner in most of them!

Server owners caught attempting to manipulate reviews or review results in any way (including, but not limited to: telling players to give a high score, telling players they must write a good review, writing multiple reviews on any server to inflate/deflate rankings, associating server score, number of review or server ranking with any server goal or event, blackmailing players in exchange for reviews) will receive a warning and/or suspension from the server listing.
