False claims to server - Final-Strike RO.

It's come to the GM Team (Including myself, Chief GM) that somebody has said that we, the GM Team, were giving out items to new players to make them review us.

Please note, we did not encourage this. But, We've recently been hiring new trial GM's, and they've been getting their friends to play as well. One of our older players, named Shinju, saw this, and wrote a guide on how to write a Review.

Note - He is NOT a GM, so it was indeed, a normal PLAYER, who was supposedly giving out items.

In the comments below it, The Admin and I Explain to him we didn't approve nor wish to allow the giving of items. (Note: The Admins English isn't the best.)

Hopefully you'll take this into account and re-list our server.

You should check and reply to the mail we sent you though you seems to have difficulties there. 

Basically, you are including your RMS link behind your "vote for point" panel. 

This redirects to your server's review page (if logged in to RMS) and awards point upon clicking >> http://www.fs-ro.net/?s=vote&vote=2

There is this message on top:

"You can vote every 12 Hours! Thank you for your support!
You can find the rewards in the GM House!"

Then this message after:

"It's a ratemyserver rule not to give any favors to someone who wrote a review.
we don't give you the vote point for writing a review, we give you the vote point for visiting the site.
If you don't want to write a review you can close the page directly after your visit.
You'll get a vote point even if you close the site."

Having the message on top means there is incentive given for review as there are many people treat RMS as a "vote site" for some reason.  Having the message on the bottom means you are trying to workaround our terms of services by giving reward in an indirect way.  You are aware of our terms but decide to risk your way on it.  Look at all the examples here:  http://forum.ratemyserver.net/index.php?action=media;sa=album;in=15

Given our terms of services had made it clear that working around our terms like that is unacceptable, your statement "we don't give you the vote point for writing a review, we give you the vote point for visiting the site." is a violation to our terms:

"Server owners caught trying to workaround the Terms of Services or taking advantage of loopholes (including, but not limited to: making any kind of misleading statement to players, creating any indirect way of providing incentives for reviews) will have their servers suspended from the listing."

That's a misunderstanding.

While it says "Claim rewards at GM House"

We use the vote point system.

As for why one of the vote links is to our RMS Page... I have no idea..

However, i'll talk that one over with the Admin, since last time I Checked. The Vote page was to NOT include RMS.

Nothing much we can do unfortunately, it is caught red handed and penalty must be served.  Otherwise it will be unfair to all the other servers that got caught in violation and all the servers that are in the listing.

You can still check now and see the RMS link in the vote panel and still giving points out.

Fair enough, yet im guessing if we were to remove the rms link and start a new, we wouldn't be relisted?

A new listing can be created in no less than two weeks time from Oct 6th.
