A lot of the false reports seem to have been saying that we're unstable and that we have a lot of downtime. However, the only downtime we ever have is during maintenance, which happens maybe 1-2 times a month. It lasts for about 2 hours at most. Other times are maybe quick reboots, but they barely happen if at all

There was also a report from player Chellah, who has not played on the server for over a year and has sold her character/gave away her accounts and things. I don't believe it is quite fair for her to judge if she has not even set foot onto the server other than the forums.

Yes, I understand a lot of players don't like Anthem because it was formerly Anima, and was under another person's ownership. However it's a bit different now... The server has been under Talis' care for the past 6 months, and anyone saying that they've been playing under Talis' ownership for longer is talking about Anima. We just really are trying, to break away and be our own server.

No, Talis is not Harken. Let's please not start this again. Itakou, I'm not here to bash your server, nor have I ever, and nor has Talis. Please as a GM, keep your opinions about who the server owner is to yourself and not bash us. If you do have proof, please provide it, but Talis is not Harken.

Even if they are not the same person physical, the mentality behind it is the same. Harken wanted to be like Debbie, take anima and make it his. Isn't Talis doing the same? Sure, he may have permission from Debbie's mom, but whats the mom going to do about the server if she said no? Not like shes going to run it, she knows nothing of it. Doubt she wants it either. The idea of the mom saying yes simply because she didn't want her son's work to just disappear isn't a far-fetched assumption.

Don't know how you see it, but to me, its like going to your dead friend's mom and asking if you can have all his stuff. Even if your allowed, thats just morally wrong. If anything, the ownership should have been passed to the other GMs. After all, they were elected by Debbie personally to help him take care of the server. Did Debbie even know Talis?

If you wanted a clean server, start your own. Not try to step in and take advantage of a critical situation.

As for opinions, its freedom of speech. If you got something against my server, bash away.

I don't have a grudge against you, Denia, personally. But I have my reasons on anything related to Anima. Just because you changed the name doesn't make it a new server.

It isn't love for Debbie, nor love for Debbie's mom. The love is for the server and for the bonds that we have created with a lot of the players on the server. Talis has made a lot of friends on there, and he wanted the server to continue in order for his friends to still exist on a server that they enjoyed and loved to be on. Talis doesn't want to be Harken, nor Debbie. Talis wants to have a server where people can play and have fun. I cannot speak for Harken nor Debbie as I do not know them personally, but that's what Talis' hope is for.

This goes past Debbie, Harken, Black Talon, and the like. We don't want to be associated with it, much like how Black Talon does not want to be associated with it. While he successfully branched away, we still have not.

We are doing our best for the players, and it's for the players. Not for Debbie, not for Debbie's mom, or ourselves. We have jobs IRL as well - but this is something that we wanted to do and keep going so that the player base would not get lost in the depths of cyberspace and lose touch with one another. We have thought about wiping however it did pose a problem here:

If we wipe, the players are upset because they lost everything. They will still blame Talis and they would be more upset at the fact that we wiped. More players will leave and cause the player base to go *boom* which is not what we had wanted. We don't want to lose our friends and cause friendships to be lost (player to player).
If we don't wipe, less players are upset, however there will be players blaming Talis for stealing the database.

It is freedom of speech, but I do not feel that it is right to bash another person like that. It's not right, I'm not one who has the right to judge, the players do. As a GM, I govern my server and do not judge others and wish the same from others (though I realize that may be too idealistic). I still don't understand your grudge against anything Anima, however I am willing to talk with you about it and perhaps clear up any misconceptions you may have against Anthem.

Just a thought Denia, if his intentions are so honorable with friendship and the player's fun at heart, why'd he keep the same donation system?

If we were to change the whole system, the players who did invest in the old server originally would be upset at the fact that whole system was changed. In fact, majority of the players on the server prefer it to be that way so they can obtain their items if they cannot find a certain item/card. Players don't only have the option of buying the items because they don't drop, but rather there are quests and they can always obtain items from other players as well; We just give them the option of being able to obtain it via "shop."

And there is no more sponsor ad credit so that type of "donation" is all gone. We have only kept paypal up which is enough to pay for 6 top of the line servers and sometimes a little extra give or take, but with the extra it goes to upgrading existing servers or saved to purchase another server (to use for testing etc). It's quite costly @_@

I took at look at the recent negative reviews on your listing.  They are all following the review guidelines.  I deleted only 1 review that was dated in January and was giving a 13/100 for not being reasonable.

Best not to fight with the RMS "crew"

Ive had alot of time off this past few weeks and I have seen like, 2 mantiences occur during those times. It must be something to do with the reviewers connection, as I run on Dial Up and havent lagged or d/c'd.

Second review that needs attention:

"First server I played.. had lots of fun here. Though my travels to other servers has made me aware of all the things that are wrong. Donations ruin the server.. economy is highly inflated every time I visit.. ad system isn't fair to all the Euro players. Still great place to meet people.. I go there to chat not to play."

We do not have ad donations anymore (free ads/sponsors) which "isn't fair to euro players." The only donations we have now is via paypal, Anima used to have these, however we do not on Anthem.

Is this grounds at all to remove this review?
