its a great server and is really fun only thing we need now is more people and its gunna be a party! this server is actaully well balanced and has a great way of making you work for your items instead of just directly warping yourself for items you have to search and work for tehm which i find more fun.

Okay, no explanation for anything but being balanced, and only claiming to be balanced, there aren't enough players to say it is balanced. Guilds? At such low population? There is no competition when there are only 10 players.

Well as much as I like this server friendly players fun events and such whenever a GM is online. One of the problems is low population so please join. I'm sure you'll have fun.

Their website shows that it is still under construction and is in poor condition.
There is no way a server could be up for a year like this.
All classes are balanced but hardly any players.
This review is clearly false.

But you see, what zone is saying is that you might have a few friends that you asked to give very good reviews in order to boost your ratemyserver rating, and that is what you call a false review.
If they were Random People, then they might have at least seen something bad about your server and put down an 8 or 9...

If your website is not finished in over a year of the server being up, then you have a big problem.

We don't ask people to rate it. They rated by themselves. Most of those whom rated the server are old players from way back. It doesn't matter if they rate it "falsely"; it's their opinion and not our doings; you just gotta understand that fact.

I just started the website again, because it got deleted awhile ago.

And I'm sure you attacked us because "crap" and "smokingspaceman" was talking about how "corrupted/unbalanced/unfair/inserthere" we are. Thats their opinion. They're friends; friends support each other no matter what the other one was doing. I didn't even see them in-game once yet they were talking about me and other GMs right before my eyes; it's obviously "false" informations.

Nope, if someone posts 'OMGZORZ DIS SRVER ISTEHPWNSAGE' and gives it a 100, we would report it and it would be removed.
Same thing goes for reviews that say they have played the server longer than it has actually been up.
Why would you delete your website without having a backup?
People on the forums use different names in game, so I am sure you wouldn't know if they were on or not.
I have over 20 aliases, so I doubt if I were on your server, that you would know.
You need to understand, we delete reviews that are incorrect, regardless if it is their opinion.

That is right, regardless if it is their opinion, they have to follow rules when they post a review. If they post 'This server is f**king gay.', then it gets deleted. Crap and whoever else you keep bringing up aren't even on anymore. Crap has gone to college. Grammatical errors are not a problem in server reviews, saying things like 'corrupt gm' and not supporting why is against the rules; saying you played the server longer than it has been open is against the rules (otherwise, yC wouldn't have deleted it.) and saying 'jewn dis srver' without giving any support is against the rules. Like I said, it doesn't matter what their opinion is, they have to follow the rules. Same thing as when on a server, if you have a rule saying no pornography and they post a picture of a naked woman in your forums, then they are breaking rules.

You may think it's ridiculous but all Ratemyserver is trying to do is give a true rating of the server to the public.
They may even be averaging out the scores by taking the bottom and top most scores away from each other to give a more average rating (something like what teachers do when grading the class average)
the reviews are there so that you can give a correct rating of the server, and not to give it a bad or good reading if you have personal relations. You can give you can give your opinion but you must explain thoroughly and back it up with facts.
After all, that is what a review is.

Bottom line is that RateMyServer is here for the general public and is expected to give it's viewers the best information they can give.

In a way. It's just their rules, people must abide by them to post their reviews.
This is to keep flaming out of reviews, and also the spamming.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but this isn't necessary or appropriate.
If you're going to go through all the trouble, write a legitimate review please.
It would help if "Support" was spelled correctly also.

See, good review, and the server owner reported it. It broke the rules, so it was deleted.

Please do not get confused with who is in charge here.

Zone is nothing more than a member of this forum, I assure you he has no right to delete any review. But everyone is welcome to report reviews that they think that should be deleted and our staff will look into the matter.

The reason the third review is deleted is because it barely meets the review guidelines.

"The best server I've ever played. Few people, yet very kind indeed. All classes are balanced and lots of events. Cheesy All we need is a few more people to make the server perfect! ^_^"

Phases like /best server ever/ or /need more people/ really shouldn't be part of the review (As guided by the review guidelines) especially in a perfect score one where the rule will be applied more strict. They are treated as place fillers because they don't tell anything about the server.

I never said I personally delete them, I said we, being ratemyserver, deletes the reviews. I speak on behalf of RMS being that I am the only on actually responding =.=

Nah, I don't do anything close to what Riotblade, Pow, or yC do.
