Does something seem weird to you?

So every so often in the corner, I see reviews for ZetaRO, and they're almost always 100.  Come to look at the reviews for ZetaRO, and they have received 79 reviews in the past couple weeks, and the average review is 92.  Searching their forum brought up nothing... but just seems odd to me.  I don't have proof of anything, and I'm not accusing them of anything; just thought I'd bring it to someone's attention.  Also, there's this review:

I've seen the same "review" reported before. This is at least a second strike for some "super" "funny" "guy".

i know i know ... i can tell this server is super suspicious and it has been suspended before ... at this point we don't have anything against them to "get the job done".  It might be within their local language community that we don't understand, it might be something else ... anyone have the time and willing to help please do so.

Apparently, they have had 50 reviews in less than a week.  Either their population just loves to give reviews, or there's something dodgy going on.  
I had a look around their forums, but I couldn't find anything there that suggested they were giving incentives for reviews.

If the server is really that great, we would have heard about it by now. Lots about it. But we've got nothing aside from spam 90-100 reviews.

It's also at the top on a lot of voting sites. SOMETHING has to be going on - if not, this server is apparently a gift from the gods. One that none of us have ever heard of. >_>

We aren't the only people in the world to play Ragnarok online though.  So if it's popular somewhere else then europe/us and haven't been advertised massively on rms it's not too unusual.

On an off topic note, I heard that some guy owned a server in china or something and he lived there, and banned some players then they came to his house and beat him up hahaha xD

Most of the names have two capital letters like MyName. The grammar and content is very similiar.

Also, they're also advertising things they don't have, and the rates are wrong on their server listing.

i am the admin of zeta ro, our previous suspension opened our eyes and ask for reviews legally, we just broadcast at least once a week and ask our players to review zeta RO. we do have a 100-300 player cap, so does having 80+ reviews with a server that has 100-300 players illegal? those who spam are just old players who think they can still get prizes by reviewing, well they don't, because if we do, we'll get suspended again. -_- i don't blame you for suspecting us doing illegal things again, because we got suspended before, but there's always a 2nd chance option.

So your players spam reviews thinking there gonna get prizes? All you have to do is tell your players not to. Your the admin control your server. Lol. So most of your reviews are spam? Same player reviewing hoping for that rare items admin might reward them with. >< I vote Half your reviews be deleted. rawr But thats jus me. Jus take charge and inforce that there will be no rewards for reviews.

It is easier said then done to control players. It's like the same concept of trying to control people from not murdering others. There are laws against it, but does that stop people? No. Lol. Same with RO Server's, or anything in general actually.

Should make it one of your Rules if you want it to have a bigger effect until people get it through their thick heads. Even though as I said above, it might not help either. But you can atleast punish them in your server if you ask yC for their IP's and/or e-mails. Just saying.
