I have a better solution. You're in a net cafe. Find he guy playing on the same server that made you get banned and kick his donkey since it's his fault and not the GM's.

You can open your own net cafe too.  That way you can sit in the back playing ro, while making money from other people playing games, and if someone scams and gets your ip(s) banned you ban him from the cafe.

Hey, there's a good one.

He can also probably be the first cafe to discourage those kind of practices.

@descent, regarding his/her post about the thread starter just having to buy a new computer -

erm, people living in developing countries like mine cannot always afford that. To some of my countrymen, a pc is worth 3 months of nonstop work without spending anything for anything else. PLease give some consideration to the more marginalised sector of the world's population. Some of my people can afford nothing but renting PCs in cafes to get away from real life's problems.

I am a Filipino, someone who lives and grew up in the Republic of the Philippines.

Fantastic. Not my problem.

You take a valid risk playing in an Internet Cafe, regardless. So let me get this straight, a PC is worth 3 months of nonstop work, yet they spend countless hours in Internet Cafes................

An hour of play in a filipino internet cafe costs 20 US cents on the average +/- 5 cents .Playing 5 hrs in a day, 30 days a month will then cost 30$. For 3 months, it will cost approx $90. An average computer over here costs more than $400. Do the math.

The point here Descent is that you first have to be more sensitive about other people living in other places. Do not post advice which are not feasible, or you will just be wasting calories by needlessly moving your fingers across the keyboard.

And if it is not your problem, please refrain from talking about it.

The time you spend in an internet cafe could be used to save up money/parttime job.. probably, idk.

I just did. Now how's this for math?

Swear off RO for that same amount of time and swear off Net Cafes and you'll have an extra 90$ to put towards a computer. At five months, that's $360USD. Let's increase that and say that a kid plays 10hours a day in a NetCafe. That makes $180 a month. Three months = new PC with money to spare. I'm guessing the concept of saving whatever money you have is lost on you.

Not as unfeasible as it sounds, is it? The best things don't come easy, so saying that it's "not feasible" is pretty much saying "it's too hard". Don't give me that nonsense.

err i think we provided enough possible solutions or alternatives.  This thread really belong nowhere except the Forsaken RO forum and I sure hope the OP can get this matter resolved or find happiness elsewhere in the world of RO.  Locking.
