There is somehow some server that separate third job from renewal features. I can't be sure on the details, maybe they are thinking about the stats system, monster stats / hp etc.
Not disclosing 3rd job or no 3rd job is up to them, the options are optional. It is for users to get to know their server more before going to their site, but if they choose to not check any at all that is their choice.
