Yeah, no need for that when you can be a lot more subtle about it. You could, for example, say: "I play at MouRO because it sucks less than the rest." ;P

Aeon is actually very old. It's been wiped once, before I ever went. Some of the players have been around for five or more years.

Though I am curious about the oldest servers.

Hmm... my eAthena account registered on 10 Sept, 2004. That is a good approximation of the server's birth date as I joined into eA exactly because I needed to work on my server and submit bug fixes (so it should be a few months before that). So that would be... maybe 4.2 or 4.5 years old.

All these new servers quit and die so fast. Not many good servers out there that have been around long.

I started recently at ValiantRO that wiped for some reason. Kind a scary to start in a server after wipe. Seems that I can look for future wipes too. Fairly good server otherwise, people talk a lot of s*** in @main thought, but I have found many nice players and old friends from there too.

aeRO and a few others are up there with 5~6 years, remembering the names fails me right now though.
