You guys really know how to make me smile!
Its not easy being a server owner for sure, there are its ups and downs, but the ups are what make me alive!
I love working with such a great staff, and such great players.

Okay, I can't really say it's THE BEST low rate server out there, but I've moved a lot from server to server trying to find something balanced and fun and I think this has the potential to become the best low rate server out there if it had a little more activity. The server is Twilight Destiny - Revolution.

I can't outright say it's the best because currently I am one of the very few people playing the server, but it has everything I need aside from a barrage of other players to interact with, so being one of a few players playing hasn't deterred me so far.

I've always been torn between DO I WANT WARP AGENTS OR IS IT JUST MAKING THE GAME TOO EASY? Well Twilight Destiny has warp agents, but the trade off is that you can't warp to a location until you have travelled there youself, either by foot, airship, boat or kafra warp. This means that you actually get to explore the game rather than just warping to the next dungeon to get your exp. I've found myself on maps that I had never even been to before in my years of playing RO, simply because this server gave me the chance to explore, and that's FUN.

It has other custom things, like a job changer and a stat resetter which arguably makes the game easier. But it's optional! A lot of people these days are too lazy to quest for their job change (don't play low rate then.) but it's nice to have the option there. The same for a stat resetter, you don't want to mess up your build, but when you do you want the ability to change it. It doesn't come for free however, you need to quest to make the stat resetter available at which point it is still going to cost you.

So really, this has the potential to be the best low rate server out there if a few more people joined up and played. If you are one of those people who likes ragnarok for the GAME and not just the grinding for levels and money, then maybe check it out.

You do realize that no one in whole history of Ragnarok Online ever used stat/skill resetter because he "messed up the build", do you?

Resets are for solely one purpose, so that you level with PvM build and when you hit 99 you switch to PvP/WoE build and dominate everyone.

Well some people also use it to get pure forgers/brewers more easily, but it's basically same formula.

Well I always plan my builds in advance, but yeah my buddies ALWAYS mess up their builds man. Like they will just mis-click a stat at one point during the game and that is it for them. Or they wont be thinking and accidentally pump ten more points into Luck than they want and not realize until it's too late.

So maybe you haven't messed up a build but I know plenty of people who do it a lot.

xD As Cat said. I've always planned my builds in advance, and have been playing for a fairly long time to know what I'm doing, yet I still will occasionally goof up, hitting something I should have, or over-boosting a stat.

I'll admit I also use it for making a WoE build, and then switching off to different builds as I get bored with playing with one, but saying no one uses it for the sake of them screwing up is kind of silly. xD

Anti-Static Foam Cleaner

Well how can you accidentally add ten points somewhere is beyond me, but if you say so.

If you're using /stat +number for example (Legitmate command, it allows for players to put stats on while using their own status points), it is quite easy to 'drop' packets to / from the server and have it register after you've already inputted it twice or so, before realizing that infact it has raised your stats.

Just a way it could happen - now whats the bet thats going to be everybodies excuse :P

Well I always use /stat at the moment but sometimes the game just lags and I'll keep clicking without realizing the numbers aren't increasing. By the time the game finally catches up the stat has gone over what I've expected it to.

iRO rates are not 'sloooooow' as people say.
You can't call the original slow. The other servers are just extremely faster. Plus you have to admit, iRO just has a better feel to it when you play. I don't know why I just get a better feeling then I do on private servers.

1. Its called Marijuana

2. No its not a weed leaf, its a type of Scottish grass.

3. Not because theres any type of leaf on the homepage. Because its...Oh lets see, online 24/7, has unique customs, has been open all of 8 days not inckuding beta and it already has a 10 merchant economy, theres at least 1 of the 5 GM staff online at all times, theres a custom training ground, mall, mascot, shops.....On and on. THAT is why its the best server :)

Pandora

Ok, so you always got a gm online and you've been up 24/7 for.. 8 days. I don't mean to diminish your server, but how about you give it a little more time before you claim yourself "the best".
heRO is a great friendly, pre-renweal, unique and fun server with a great community, give it a try!

Not to mean to interrupt but, he didnt mean the grass on the top, yet, there is a marijuana leaf on your webpage, just where it says NAVIGATION.

Just compare:

Ok, even if there is a scottish grass that looks the same, any NON-scottish person will look at it and think "weed leaf? wtf"

I agree with Pandona, being 24/7 online is a requeriment, not a feature.
Having gms to answer questions and help out with problems, is a requeriment, not a feature.
Unique customs, fine, but you dont state which they are even on your website, could be anything from a custom Pink Eyed hairstyle to a turn-based combat modification to battle system.

On the help webpage it is said that the server features are all displayed on main page, but i only see this:
Quote
Customs: Item Mall, Special Training Ground, Healbuffer, Mascot, Unique Events, Main town is Aldebaran, and much, much more!
I really dont see any of these as "unique" features, maybe of course, the "unique events", since i cant tell anything about those.
There are a lot Item Malls available to download on eAthena boards, and i plain dislike it.
Healbuffer, comes on default /custom folder on eA. Changing maintown is a simple matter of organizing npcs and telling people "idle on alde, its the main town".

But regardless of all that, what makes your training ground special?

On the topic:
I think the best server is the one you can play with your friends and have fun on it, regardless of amount of people. But obviously, a server filled with bug where you cant even play without getting a ulcer will eventually make you leave to the next door.
Custom Features are always nice, the plain RO can get boring to people who have playing the game for years, myself for example, i still have a lot of fun in the basic game by itself, but there is a s*** of "official" features that i completely dislike (forging system for example).

My server sure it isnt the best, mainly because i just started it and has very few players, but i play with my friends and THEY tell me im doing a good job.
It still has a ton of annoying bugs that bother me since i cant fix (YET!), but most of those dont even catch the players attentions, and i wont stop trying to improve my server gameplay everyday.
