It got off topic when Skotlex posted a response to why Kaid brought up porn and 12 year olds, and then I replied, bringing it back to the original topic.

Heh. xD I've gotten three or so from RevengeRO. I censored it in my other post, because I thought it wouldn't be appropriate. Since others have shared who given them unwanted advertisements, however, I might as well share my little friend as well. xD As I've said, not as bad as the fifty or so from others, but it's pretty uncalled for and irritating.

And yes, enough with the twelve year olds and porn. D= Hm... I still don't know exactly why servers think that spamming people's e-mails with e-mails that are obviously generic will actually get them members. Now, I can understand an e-mail that you can tell was written specifically for you, and tries to convince you that way, after having all ready known you were looking for a server, but... Tch. xD The generic "Join our server! We be de best! Join join join -insert link.- " just isn't very effective. D=

It's the same thing as spamming advertisements in a server.

Same issue as JJJ here.. feels like it's time to change e-mail soon, but at the same time that would be like admitting defeat. >.<

I'd just bomb their email with a program and keep it running non-stop.

I'd only be fine if the e-mail was sent personally by a GM with a different message on each one but the ones I've been getting are things like no-reply@someemailservice.com.

umm.. thats not an actual e-mail I just don't know how to make it not highlight when you put your mouse over it...

Quality RO spammed way more than 500 people, it seems there is max amount you can send one mail to. I received 3 spams from them, all with different spam list. They have my 3 e-mail addresses.

I'm going to change my e-mail addresses too. And I will make new aliases to RO servers. Addresses I can delete if I start to receive advertisement into them.

I managed to make it year without single spam and now it starts. I hate you RO ad spammers.
