Scamming VPS Host

Hi just letting you guys know to be careful of this VPS Site http:// eternity host .net I ordered on Jan.5th of 2012 and it is now the 14th and still never got my order or any response back from this site. I had sent countless tickets and even emailed the admin but no reply back at all.
Just letting you guys know to be careful since I got scam out of my money and stuck paying for it since I can not even cancel it.

I do not understand why people insist on using eternityhost...

A simple search on our forums would've brought a few threads that should've been enough to completely avoid their service:

Oh they are still in business?  I am thinking do they just have the website up to lure victims into paying them that came out of nowhere.

How are you suppose to find them and pay for the service without doing some research.  You aren't the first victim that "warn" us of this scamming host AFTER we banned their service and topic in this forum.  We know they bad, we try to keep our users save from them since A LONG TIME AGO but if you didn't try to find out the history we can't help you

How do you get "stuck" paying for them?  If you gave them your credit card, just call the card centre and tell them your story.  Tell them you get no service and they should reverse your transaction.

If you used PayPal or started a PayPal subscription with them, first login to PayPal to cancel the subscription on your end.  Then file a PayPal dispute asap to get your money back for not getting the product you paid for.

We use https://www.bibihost.com/, and we like it. The main server costs about $150 per month with the following specs:

CPU: i5 Quad. Core w/ 10TB/mo Bandwidth
Memory: 16GB RAM & 2TB Disk Space

And our test server costs about $45 per month with these specs:

1TB Disk
2GB RAM
100Mbit/s port
5TB Dedicated Bandwidth


The mainserver never lags and can hold about 2000 players. You might be able to get away with a cheaper option, such as what we do with the test server, but it is noticeably slower when compiling and downloading.

I wouldn't go with any host cheaper than $30/mo though. I don't care what others say, there's no way a server that cheap will run smoothly with more than 50 players.

I'm using corgitech, since they had a half off for life deal going on and so far have been excellent.  Though I'm not sure if their half off deal is still going on.  It really saved my budget.
