NyxsisRO - a unfortunate miscarriage

If someone still remembers this server, which was supposed to open in May. It died, even without being opened.
The Admin (GM Alpha) didn't login since May 3rd on his forums and today the complete site is gone, replaced with a domain parking site. (http://nyxsis-network.com/)

Poor players who waited so patiently for the server to open. Seriously GM Alpha. Getting your f*** off without a notice is really poor. Good that I left this server weeks ago without wasting even more time. But you know, you can't be even close as good as the original NyxsisRO. You thought you'd just ninja this name and that's it?

It's really not unusual for that to happen.  I have seen a lot.  Same old rms saying, open or it doesn't exist.

There shouldn't be a lot of people waiting for a server to open these days?  I wouldn't be waiting for a server open when there are lots of others that are opened to choose from.

I was about to play it after exRO, glad I didn't. I think the server had potential though :/.

Wow it didn't even get to start, poor GM Alpha, seems like something really bad happened to him or his family

Hope he's alright and brings the server back, hopefully led by more than 1 person.

This is indeed the problem of having a server ran by a single person. If something comes up, the whole server can go poof without anybody really having a clue on what happened.

Yet, having multiple people manage a server has its own share of problems xD;

I guess no path is perfect.

Yeah I know that...
I waited for a server to open long time ago (a few years actually o.o)
and the server admin disappeared too.
You can't be sure what happened to him... I hope that guy is ok.

But yeah, look for a server that is managed by multiple people.
There the chance is much lower that it will just disappear

10/10/5 no 3rd jobs, fully updated. Warper took you to mosc dun, manuk, splendide, nidhogg, scaraba. Custom main town and pvp arena (both very cool). Bradium accesories implemented as drops from Bradium Golems. We had ~80 registered members and around 30 people posting actively around. Lots of good suggestions, many taken into account and being implemented. Was looking very nice, like it would have had a great start, but the GM suddenly had some important real life matters to attend and had to leave for a while, forever.

Myself and a few others saw this coming. We hoped it wouldn't but you know.. It happens. Nothing we can do about it. : /
It did have a lot of potential, and the community was doing really well too.

Yeah, I was quite looking forward to that place opening. Alpha seemed to be quite competent and was working to make sure things were high quality, rather than rushing a release. Sable and Ravi were also quite friendly; I felt they were more than qualified for their positions based on the way they conducted themselves on the boards. Sadly, it simply wasn't meant to be. It's not easy finding a quality low rate server these days.

Personally, I do not see it coming back at any point.
