New Hairstyles

As you know KRO has added 2 new hairstyles for both girls and boys.

I was wondering how many other servers besides ParaidseRO has them?

Server-side it is easy to support new hairstyles, the issue is that the client needs to be updated so you can select them at char-creation time. And...well, there havent really been any new client hex releases in a month or so...

I have the sprite files for them, just haven't had the time to update the palette folders/files yet. Personally, I think the four new hairstyles are really.. really lacking, thus why I've not bothered to proceed to launch them at my server. Kudos for having them though, not many people are talented enough to rip them from the kRO sdata.grf.

Funny thing is, there are custom hairstyle looking very much like the 2 on the right, they were released on Rune.

Yeah, I noticed the same. x_x When I originally saw them, I asked myself, "Okay, either they stole the sprites.. or they paid the original artists to use their work... what the hell?"

I do not really think these hair styles are all that great, compared to the custom ones I have witnessed... this is almost butchery ;\  and only 4 total? x.X  Seems like an odd addition, of course this is all my opinion ;p

The 2 on the right, which are also custom sprites, were "shown" in the RO classes preview on their official website, the girl one for gunner and the male one for sinx if I'm not mistaken.

As Mewi pointed out, I too think they're horrid.

The custom versions at R.U.N.E. are much better imo.

Just makes you wonder why some of the artists at R.U.N.E. haven't submitted their work to compete with the designers at Gravity Inc, since for the most part they're clearly better with spriting.

Eh, I am not too fond of them.
I saw some that weren't released and they were custom, I forgot where, but they were good.
