LETS GET ALL LOW RATE SERVERS TO ONE!

there are people that like buffer/healer/warper npc and there are people that dont like them..
but both like low rate server. how to unite these peeps?

in more detail, there are people that like healer and warper but dont like buffer npc
there are people that like warper to every floor of dungeons, people that like warper to every field

things like those, how to make people that love low rate server to move into one server?
and not to mention some people like no customs at all, some like customs

So it all comes down to dealing with this god awful LR situation afterall.

After checking some low and midrate server out the closest one to my liking is ElariaRo, but I don't know if some people I know will join with me.  I see this server has potential and is growing (slowly) overtime and has been just started yet. (6 weeks old). Afterall FableRo has potential too as midrate but there is so many custom stuff implemented which I really don't like....

Sadly there are no good populated LR server w/o overpowered donation or stupid stuff like a warper and @buff.

I think buffer/healer/warper should be nice in a MID Rate server, where everyone has a champion and camp every MvP and manuk mob.

But there's no team work, Mid Server exist for people without much time to expend in friendship or quest, they have a little time to enjoy playing the game in "SOLO mode", that's the way i see it, that's the way i've played it the last couple of years.

Low rate it's about team work, that's the real essence of LR RO, that's what i really miss about RO.

I'm kind of tired of ChampsRO, MavkasRO, SniperRO.

Once upon a time I would have loved everybody to play on the same server, imagine the possibilities. Nowaydays this is impossible, simply because Ragnarok is old and the influx of new players will settle on existing servers. There are one or two big servers for each rate category and it will stay like that.

Sadly for the LR section its Pay2MvPCardRo or OldNoWipeRo as the 2 big(populated) servers.

I wonder what happend to HyVent, Nightstand, Berzerker or Nabzz or the other big guilds from EternityRo...

You can call those servers whatever you want as they do still exist after all these years. I do not regret our donation system as that kept us alive for such a long time without longer downtimes. Same goes for that other server, it still exists after all. I suggest you stop flaming them as that's not even the point of this topic and totally not related to what the topic starter suggested in the first place.

Honestly, I love your server. Played there for over a year and after a certain someone stops dragging me to a new server every other week, I'm probably just gonna come home.

I prefer no customs and no way to buy anything of value with real currency and all of that, but at least Talon does it in a way that's fair. There's no separation of those who have their mom's credit card (Huehuehue) and those that want to get their farm on so they can be well equipped.

Back to the topic at hand: I still think it'd be dope if this were to happen but meh...the total player pool for RO in general drops a bit more and a bit more with each and every day that passes. For every one person that picks up the game for the first time, three quit for good. Between that and almost everything else that's been discussed in this topic, it's gonna be almost impossible to get everyone under one roof, no matter how the server is.

I am the owner of domain "www.thelastro.com"

It used to be a server at my country, but the admin give up and make another server.
It runs like 1,5 year, the peak player is 170ish, because its a local server not an international one, so I dont promote on RMS.

The domain is currently not in use.
I can design stuff for web banners, flash intros, etc.

Come on, we need fresh low rate server!

YEAH MAN, THIS NEW SERVER DIED THAT HAD "POTENTIAL" JUST LIKE A BUNCH OF OTHER ONES BEFORE THIS.  BUT THIS EVEN NEWER SERVER LOOKS LIKE IT HAS "BETTER" POTENTIAL!  LETS JOIN THAT INSTEAD OF THOSE SERVERS THAT ACTUALLY SHOW SIGNS OF STABILITY AND EFFORT.

I think there was a once aegis server that was pretty close to official (i think?), unfortunately I don't remember the name of it or if it's even alive anymore (it was up for 5 years, having had a "recent" wipe last I heard, but that was a while ago).  Gotta make do with what you get though, and ya'll gotta seriously stop joining new servers even if they get hyped up, they almost always go to s*** 3 months after.  I'd suggest joining a server with at least 1-2 years of being up with no signs of dying, because wasting your time on the new low rate will only come back to bite you when it dies.

Just brilliant, try to keep your hands of capslock "roflmao". Potential to me is like when a server doesnt have an op donating system or commands that make you stay away(in the LR section). The donating system on some servers is overpowered and frustraing to the non donating players because no matter what somebody is writing here "the more cash you spend the better off you are".
You can argue "the more time you spend the better you get in RO" is quiete the same but its not. 

There is no server imo that stepped in and took the gap that eternityRo v3 left behind. Even through it was possible to have 4?? or more headgear slots on eternityRo.

That's Ragnarok Frontier, and it's probably never going to die. The owner and GM have stuck with it through all the worst times and still post new updates regularly. It's an example of how nothing kills a server if people don't abandon it. It's survived: hacking, mass botting, GM corruption, one-sided WoE, and low funds on multiple occasions since I joined it in 2004.

The OP has the odd notion that the hundred plus people who have visited and played RF on the regular for almost a decade will drop it for some new "unified" server that won't last six months.

Ragnarok Frontier has open PVP. If it wasn't for that, it would really be a good option for making it "the one" close to official low rate server. Also I'm not so sure if it supports also the common eAthena @ commands as creating those commands in Aegis is quite hard.

But I agree that it's silly to on the one hand say that there should only be one big low rate server and then taking "it's new" as selling point. If people really wanted to play together on a big server, why not just all go to the same one that existed for a long time?

That this doesn't happen already now shows that it's unlikely to ever happen.
