Did it fail before it even got started? I was still considering it / checking it out at random times, specifically its forum.

Wow.  I hadn't heard of it, but for the website and forum to be completely gone...

Apparently some Admins no longer have the dedication to even follow through with launch anymore, let alone a month or two online.  Now THAT'S intense.  Lmfao.

Well, the admins were trolling, and their players were trolls.

I guess for the few players who genuinely were nice and wanted to play got troll'd the worse with this predicament.

Wow, the trolling was really that bad?  O_o

I didn't bother looking because I was too lazy to create a forum account just to see.

The admins were as bad of trolls as the players lol It was really unprofessional and ridiculous. They just let them spam the forum, rip on players, go off-topic, and make out-of-context jokes that were both insulting and pathetic.

It was the biggest trollfest I'd ever seen.

Trolldom.

I was still thinking about joining, but with such an awful community, you can imagine hesitance arose.

Not to mention, there were other candidates.

Wtf it redirects to porn now.

Although it was a trollfest, the server did look promising in terms of WoE/PvP-competition.

Also, kindly remove the links from your post... they now redirect to 2girls1cup, and it really isn't a pleasant view.

Just got an email from a couple of guilds from LuminaRO that are moving there. I'm not sure how dead it is.

That said, given who the owners of said guilds are (which will be almost instantly denied because it's a load of drama, so I won't say) - the server's going to be a real mess in about two or three days.

As midrates go I'm still rating Intense-RO top midrate, though PumpkinRO may be an okay contender. I still don't think there will be any great servers at all this year, though.

The server's still going up.    Someone was hired to "Sabotage" us.   Didn't work too well though, I was in the process of transferring hosts anyhow.  So all they really did was attack our forum, OH and my MSN account.

Either way, server's still going up if not Friday, then Saturday.  Our new host is setting up a bunch of things for us.  Oh, and as for our Trolls?  They're just bored and excited, you have to realize that most people that play RO are from ages 16 - 20.  They're all so mature /sarcasm.

Anywho, hope to see you there :)!

Yes someone was hired to hack our site, and yes it did all happen while we were switching to a different host to remove the lag in-game (For anyone who wishes to know, we are switching to SoftLayers.) We do apologize to the community of JRO and anyone else who is interested in joining the server on its opening. We are still opening, the server files are intact. The only thing we just have to do is re-setup the forums and the main site.

We do know who it was and it's alright. Things happen. We won't be discouraged from that event, just more motivated to do better. It was a good thing this happened before the server opened because now we can prepare ourselves for the extent other servers will go through in order to bring you down.

To comment about the Trolls, the server is based on WoE, BG, and PvP. These are the breeding grounds for competitive players. While the staff and I try to control them, they cannot be completed limited in expressing their ideas. We apologize you felt hurt Yusifer from what was said in your suggestion topics, however you never reported the trolls. The IPB forums we use allows you to click on the report button so we can act faster. Theres only 3 GMs, and 200 of you. Not all post are considered trolls, and not all trolls are noticeable.

Let what happen to us be a wake up call for new servers out there. Make sure your host backs up all of your information, and ask them how to prevent hacking attempts to make sure your server prospers.
