How would an ideal server should be?

i've been thinking of doing something like this for a while, if anything i would prefer to take jro's mob stats since they are close to pre-re mechanics already, but its just way more fun for me to try balancing things out myself lol

an ideal server is a well-prepared server. Before you launch the server, you must know what would the outcome of economy will be, and by history of all other servers, ofcourse you already know. Now, how would you handle that? Putting custom item at your server to compensate with overflowing normal equips? But nobody likes custom item. Now, that's the question.

So in short, the server must be able to handle long term run.
