hosting server for ro server

I and 1 of my frnd are planning to make a new ragnarok server but i am having difficulty in finding a good hosting company to start the server. plss help me out regarding this. i tried searching around in this forums but i cudnt find ... kindly help me out please..

Depend what you consider as a "good" host.

I've seen a lot of servers using host gator recently, personally I really like NFO. I've had really bad luck with hosts that offer eA specific hosting, but that might just be me. Generally it's important to remember that you get what you pay for. If you're paying $5 a month, you're probably going to feel lag from time to time. A good rule of thumb right now is around $30 for 512mb-1GM of ram, just make sure you look around for some reviews of the host before you sign up.

A lot of people use  to use softlayer back in the day,  you can look them up. They are good.

Sure softlayer is one of the known to be good host.  However, their price isn't cheap and they don't have vsp for small starting server needs.  You might as well suggest ThePlanet or LimeStoneNetwork, I mean they are in the premium dedicated hosts category just not as affordable.

I've also made bad experience with those "RO Hosting" services.
I've tried many of those (found most of them here on rms) and it ALWAYS turned out that at the start they did well, but after they get more customers it all went downhill.
They often offer too cheap VPS, but too many services, so they get overloaded with requests and can't keep up with the work anymore, including the quality of the services.

That's why I suggest going with "real" hosting companies. With them you can be sure to get professional help and services. The downside is that the prices are way higher, but at least you can be sure to get what you paid.

In my opinion, I always had good experience with rapidxen until now. Never had any downtime and their work is professional and fast.
Of course, another downside is that they don't offer any of those RO services, which is not necessarily a bad thing, since it's better if you acquire the knowledge on how to do those things, anyway.
