AHK/Romedic are a must for WoE/BG Oriented servers nowadays, so stop crying bout this

Harmony is one of the best anti thirdprograms cheats, i have been playing lot of servers w/ this and i have never got any kind of lag, (Grafic, Net or Host/Server Lag) playing 48vs48 woe servers

of course ppl will always find a way to use speedgear or any acelerator even w/ harmony, but at least harmony makes impossible to edit GRF/Jobs Animation (nodelay.grf) and protect from Openkore/Wpe/Rpe a 100 %

That `time gap beetween the server and you` can be disable by the server admin easily (i request this on my actual server cuz its sucks), is just an option to disconnect ppl who overspam skills w/ ahk, other way is to put 40 sleep on your ahk script and it will not dissconect u anymore

yah my english is bad

i have no idea who is b**** about WoE/BG servers and people using AHK.

I'll see if I can't talk to the server admins about the time gap crap, its just really bothersome if i'm trying to WALK and every 5 minutes I get dc'd due to a time gap, people keep saying change things with whatever you're using 'AHK ROMedic W/e' but I don't use those so not much I can do on my end haha.

Funny thing is last two admins I talked to said they couldn't do anything about the time gap d/c and that Harmony was going to fix it with the next revision or w/e.  :|

Code: [Select]
Default configuration:
// If a client sends more than 12 (spelldelay_threshold) skill packets within
// one second (spelldelay_interval) the internal fail counter is increased.
// If a clients fail counter exceeds 5 (spelldelay_failcount) a no-delay
// detection is triggered (nodelay)

// Whether the no-delay detection is enabled
spelldelay_enabled: yes

// Number of milliseconds for each monitoring interval
// Default: 1000ms
spelldelay_interval: 1000

// Number of skill packets allowed in this period
// Default: 14 (theoretical maximum: 10)
spelldelay_threshold: 14

// How often a packet flood must have been detected before any action is taken
spelldelay_failcount: 5

// Number of milliseconds after the fail count is decreased by one (to avoid false
// positives triggering the detection after a long time in game)
// Default: 60000
spelldelay_cooldown: 60000

nodelay: restrict, 0
nodelay: message, 100, You will be disconnected for skill spam in 15 seconds.
nodelay: kick, 15000, 15
nodelay: log, 0, No-Delay hack detected

This is the Harmony Line where admins can disable/Enable that option, but im pretty sure GMs on ur server dont know how to propertly setup harmony

i have no idea who is b**** about WoE/BG servers and people using AHK.

i said that cuz i saw lot of ppl complening about this some pages behind

A server owner not being able to setup something that comes with an actual manual telling the person what to do and how to use it? That's completely unheard of /sarcasm

It's the laziness and cookie-cutter mentality that cause the players to suffer more. They think they are getting such a pro server because they have this and this and that installed, but when it isn't even configured properly...or even at all, it turns out that the server is quite actually the same as all the others.

You can wrap s*** up with bows and ribbons but at the end of the day, it's still s***

Would spending the initial $200 investment in the server make a server more determined to stay alive?  (or should I ask how long a server is expected to make that back plus more?)

I have no idea, last server I played had Harmony and it only lasted like 3 months.  I mean its still up, but literally a ghost town.

You gotta keep your community interested otherwise they will leave. Installing some random scripts doesn't do anywhere near enough to keep players having content.

WoE is content.

So you'd just play some iRO rip off with nothing else, just WoE on?  Seems boring.

I would if it was something as a Super WoE server without lag and dcs but since that doesn't exist.. nop.

whether or not they kill each other-
the most interesting part of the MMO experience has always been the other players.

For me, I don't have any problems with Harmony, if you configure it right, you won't have any problems with it. Imo, I'd rather play in a server with Harmony even if it causes less players than playing in a server with no Harmony that has lots of bots and players that uses WPE.

True. I just prefer Harmony, I've never had a bad experience with it.
