Guild Attraction?

As the question and title states, I wish to receive opinions on both topics.

Are you willing to transfer guilds to a server if it meant you could participate in a Guild vs Guild event that not only promises your guild a first place worthy item, but a statue custom made in the likeness of you or your guild that will forever be immortalized somewhere in the server? That means after months or years of inactivity, the statue would be a symbol of the greatness your guild once held in the server. I've seen many great guilds, but none of them could ever compete with the challenge of time. So I was wondering for all you hardcore PVPers out there, would this be enough to make you want to join a server?

If not, Any opinion or suggestion on what attracts a PVP player base without having to hand them everything on a silver orlean server? It's rather difficult for me to understand as I am not a a heavy RO PVPer, so I do not understand the thrill or the glory of killing a player.

Thank you for the response  /kis

I thought the challenge of time is more difficult for the server to stay open.

Otherwise that sound like something fun to check out like a hall of frame right?  Only if your server can stay open "after months or years" later.  Generally, I think it wouldn't be too attractive for a newly opened server because nobody is going to feel proud of having a symbol on a not so known server yet (and the uncertainty of how long it will stay open).

I find this interesting, but it would be better if there are categories for small guilds as well.
Looking for a good 99/70 Midrate. New or BG/PVP active. Headgear Quests are good as well, send me a PM

Well, if the best guild gets such a glorious statue, what about the other guilds who try and actually want to be top too? You gonna have multiple statues in honour of different guilds? What happens if there is new guilds forming and they found out about the "Strongest" guild and no one can beat them? That's sorta a turn off to even create a guild to even why bother trying. Though, those with high goals may accomplish such a task.

Guild of the month statue based on who wins more times on a month would be cool specially if it's a 3d model of the emblem of the winning team.
That in the middle of Prontera would be neat and making it a very good looking and promise gvg server.

You could always add all of the guild of the month statues to that a room just to people see how is the competition there in a click but don't forget that, to this be something worth to play, the rest of the features of the server need to be on par or you end with a fail server since nobody finds that amusing to see such a feature that shows the same guild over and over again since it just shows that there is no competition or nobody good enough to fight the top guild aka competition sucks.

Then maybe Smaller Statues for 2nd and 3rd place? Anything else is not worth mentioning because If all the guilds try and need to be catered like a baby like that then that's pretty sad. I'm hoping to attract guilds that actually have the attitude to say "Damn we didn't win, but we'll win next time" instead of "F*** this we lost, time to leave".

I'm actually talking about a Human statue, literally the likeness of the guild members themselves with their own chosen Pose on a Large slab of rock with a NPC plaque that states the guild name, the guild member names and anything else etc. That means 50 Different custom Statues all in the likeness of the winning guild. The work would be Tediously painful, but the results would be amazing.

Which also brings about the Problem of a older guild over-powering newer guilds. I want everyone to have a chance but I don't want to hand them everything, I want them to work for it too. Should the competition be divided by guild AGE? Like how old each guild is? (Would disabling MVP cards give a better competition?)

Nah, don't do that but instead "kill" stuff that unbalance WoE to give equal chances to new and old players like GTB and Hibram. Easier and more fun. There are always super old guilds that are 100% junk so doing what you are suggesting is sorta bad and kinda ruins the fun/chance to them get better and provide better competition.

I agree. A few cards push the player/gear requirement on newbie guilds a bit too high and make it less fun. Its supposed to be more about skill and less about gears.
