I'm hearing this term a lot these days. People are even writing it in their RMS advertisement threads "GM Bias free server". Have you experienced "gm bias"? What was it like?
From my point of view, there have been corrupt GMs as long as RO has existed. Only in 2017 though has the term "gm bias" risen in popularity. I've seen in Facebook groups people asking "should we play this server?" only for someone to shut it down saying "no that server got bias gm". Just as "Gepard protected" was the hot thing to have in your adverts in 2016-2017, "no bias gm" seems to be the in label heading into the end of this year.
I think this is the same claim as the "no corrupt gm" or "no gm corruption" few years ago. Similar to advertisement on healthy food with labels such as "50% less sodium" or "no artificial favor" just to highlight the selling point that might interest the general audience.

I believe is started up around the time of RoM shenanigans with "Bias Ash" and "Bias will be FROWN" crap, just a thought.

I usually avoid servers that claim 'bias wtvr', cuz most the time they are crappy, unprofessional servers.
