FeelRO Airen
« on: Oct 20, 2009, 12:11 am »
Now, I do realize FeelRO is a very popular server with 500+ online constantly (or at least, that's what it says; when you go in-game it feels dead and players have said that of the 650 players, MAYBE 150 are actually playing), I find the attached file a little hard to believe.

145 players in 1 day? I didn't even see you guys advertise for the "LR" and bam! You have almost 150 players connected.

Shinai's players haven't migrated either; they still have 750 online currently and usually the server is 650~1200; the average being 800 out-of-WoE. This 145 player number is constant, not wavering, and I'm skeptical about its authenticity.

Weird.

I'm sure there's plenty of people from the main server that moved over.  I highly doubt that no one at all migrated.

Also, it's a big & well known server.  Word of mouth can spread fast among former FeelRO players.  Hell, even I was told about the LR by an ex-FeelRO player just two nights ago. lol

Sorry, but I don't really see anything strange about this.

There's 250 online now and 760 on Shinai; I don't know if they're putting people on Airen the first few days to make it look huge right-off-the-bat or if there's something fishy going on, but it's certainly not normal that there be 250 players running around within a few hours of opening >> Hugely populated or not, Shinai Server is maximum 300 real people playing; the rest are AFKers and Vendors. Does that mean Shinai is flooded currently with AFKers / Vendors and all of the real people from Shinai are now on Airen poking around, doing something?

I dunno. It's just odd that 250 migrated from Shinai to Airen and Shinai still kept 750+ online. I know FeelRO is a big server but their site doesn't announce an LR except in a topic on the forum (not even stickied, so it's kinda hidden).

Perhaps there's nothing there, but at the same time, I'm kinda "oO" about it.

[Edit]

I can't actually go in-game and check either. Their Part 1 for their Full Client keeps crashing and when I tried to add to another RO folder, the patcher never downloaded FeelRO.exe; their Client Healer didn't help. I'm just basing this off of how crazy, unrealistic, and bizarre that it looks o_O because it's seriously weird, even if their Shinai is "uber populated".

There's 505 on Airen now (in like 10h of opening) and 820 on Shinai o_O Are they just super-uber lucky and everyone joins FeelRO Airen? It just looks really weird, especially since Shinai doesn't appear to be 820 online when you go in-game.

Main FeelRO's server had 1400+ people online. They probably moved from Shinai to Airen.

Why does everyobe lately seem to be taking jabs at another persons reviews or pop?

WHO CARES?! It's not your server, unless you got solid proof, just leave it alone.

This post was made in the wrong thread, but I'll try to justify it anyway.

This 145 player number is constant, not wavering, and I'm skeptical about its authenticity.
Could be a busted Who's Online dealie.  I would think that'd make it show 0 online though, but again this is a attempt to salvage a post.

Well, at least the donation items in Airen are slightly less overpowered.

Ah, it appears to be (as someone mentioned) a WoE... pro... server thing oO I don't quite get that, but apparently it's the explanation for 600 players on the first day of opening?

Anyway :p I don't care anymore. I just thought it was odd Oo s'all. FeelRO's a nice server; I've nothing against it. I played there for a while actually ^^ but I quit after 2 months from boredom (this was when 50 were online). It's nice to see that it's successful :)

I'm not reporting FeelRO. I was just looking for an answer as to why its population scored 600 on the very first day with only a forum post as advertisement.

FeelRO advertised Airen after the "SuperWoE" tournament that weekend, the tournament had 1800 people online so their current population seems more than justified.

Which is exactly why a site like RMS should stay neutral in such cases /ok

WoE Oriented Server + Advertisements = Win Pop?
