Does anyone else have this problem too? Regarding BRs and Pinoys

I don't think I need to be saying this before I start my thread off but... I'm not racist, hard to beleive from what your about to read but I'm not >_> I'm actually a minority where I live. Kay movin on...

Is it me or at almost all the RO server's I've played on Brazilian and Philippino players ruin everything. Many times I clear and entire map of mimics from the AM map and guess who kills it? Some Hunter with arrow shower that does the emoticon when I arrive back on the map shocked -.- They almost never speak English, but I can tell they come from Brazil or the Philippines because of their guild. I get KS'd, scam attempts, etc etc. Now I know there are some pretty cool BRs and Pinoys out there but overall it just seems like they do everything that a player doesn't want happening to him or her during their stay at a server.

Again, not trying to sounds racist so I'll move onto my final question. Does this stuff happen at your server too?

It's a touchy subject, cuz yes people will think you are a racist if you think that way.

Sadly..  I've also experienced this, I don't know about Philipino, but at the start of my server it seemed a lot (not all) rule breaking was committed by Brazilians. Cheating in events, KSing, Botting, Lying, etc.

Like I said, not all rulebreaking was from someone from brazil, but it seemed there was a high concentration, specially if compared to the ratio, maybe the community was about 10% BR yet they stired more than 10% of the trouble? Anyhow, overtime the rulebreakers were banned and those who stayed are very nice. The language barrier also seemed like a problem so I appointed a BR GM who speaks very good english and can communicate with those who don't.

It's only a minority that misbehave, but its the ones we notice the most unfortunatly.

Yeah, br's ruined NewUnitRO(NuRO). Their guild SpaY botted all the time and used packets in pvp for the snipers and such(since they had doppel card). I personally hate them all with a passion now :/

Well I havn't played with pinoyz since the early days when a bunch of them crowded an english server spamming their language. They were all banned though D:

We're all the same people, it's just if a "pinoy, br" does something wrong or incredibly repulsive, someone is going to point the finger and end up hating them.

I realize that, but there is a misrepresentation in the amount of BRs and Pinoys that play on a server and the rule breaking that happens in ratio to them. Someone said it earlier with their server being 10% BR yet more then 10% of the crime was commited by the BRs. Its obviuos you notice the problem too but arent comfortable talking about it. So in that case you simply don't need to read the thread, whether or not you close this thread isn't going to make a difference as people will still think the samething. At least now we can discuss it out in the open.

Not everyone has/will bot... that's a pretty asinine generalization to make.  Especially for those of us who don't partake in WoE or PVP, we see no need to ruin the game for ourselves.

As for the BR/Pinay players, it's a pretty well-known stereotype among RO servers.  I think it would be solved if everyone stayed on servers of their own language.  After all, if you can't speak the language, how would you know what the rules are telling you?

I fully agree with this, just because you take the easy way and other people do too does not mean that everyone will! There are still some honest people in the world and/or people who will not want to take the chance of seeing all they worked for ruined if they get caught.

If you are Brazilian, and this offends you, then you should just stop reading now.

I'm not racist either - however, I believe the reason so many brazilians/philipino players do this is because 99% of all larger RO servers are made up of a large Brazilian and Filipino population, so, if they get caught, they just play another server, knowing that they will have friends or another speaker of their native language waiting for them.

Us English players might as well give up hope. Why? Because there are no servers that are comfortably large and have a good sized english population.

Now, on the other hand, this game has been advertised and played more in other countries than the US, so of course it will attract more players from the Philippines.

A lot of Brazilians and Filipinos actually do take the time to learn english and try to communicate to us via English, however, most of the time it just comes out as "ha u r br?" or something similar. This is why I believe RO is a lost cause for the English players.

I always did find it ironic how the majority of servers are run by primarily English speakers/natives of the English language, and yet none play the actual server.

These are my opinions, and thoughts - again, if you are offended by my way of thinking, then that's on you. I won't apologize for speaking my mind.

I very much agree with this statement. Just because some Brazilians and Filipinos scam, hack, and cheat, it does not mean that all of them do. It only shows as them, because they're the only ones playing the server most of the time. Go to XileRO, DarkRO, NamelessRO, any large server, and try to find English players. Exactly, so it's difficult to back something up like that.

Unfortunately, in the OP's case, it was a guild that did it. Well, that was the guild, not all of the Brazilian population. Great, leave the server, move on.

Honestly, just quit RO if you are unhappy. That's what I did, and I don't care much to be honest. Wait for RO2 to come out, as it should be within the next 6 months (international version, that is).

This all boils down to different cultures unable to accept each other's differences, and this has been going on for hundreds of years. It's human nature, for the most part. I, personally, have no problems with Brazilians or Filipinos - i just have a problem with lack of English players.

I'm going to have to agree with you >.> its probably more of a language barrier problem than anything.  I too have had countless encounters with people from Brazilian and the scamming, hacking, botting, lying attempts.  Maybe it is because there are just a lot of BR people so it makes it seem more frequent than most... But to be honest  I think us English speaking people cause just as many problems XD
