Does anyone else have this problem too? Regarding BRs and Pinoys

Saying "Pinoys suck" or "all BRs are KSing noobs" is derogatory, if not outright racist. "Nationalist" may be a better term, since you're aiming the comments at a country rather than a race, but the spirit of the words are still the same.

However, it's NOT derogatory to say "English only" on a server.  I've seen plenty of other servers that allow only their (non-English) language, and nobody bats an eye to it.  The community can be far better supported if everyone sticks to their own language.  It's hardly fair to make every server get several staff members just to translate.  More staff means more room for corruption. 

As an additional note, English is taught to pretty much everyone in all first- and second-world countries.  Most non-English speakers... are probably faking it so they can get away with breaking the rules.  Either way, my point still stands; one server, one language.  There's nothing racist, nationalist, or derogatory about it.

thats true. but ultimately its up to the  admin/gm to enforce it. players will never ever follow rules, if they can get away with it. i bet almost everyone who plays on english server understands the language, they just dont care.

server admins dont enforce the language rule because some of them think that people have a "right" to play on their server. they try to please everyone (or just to increase player count), which in the end actually pleases no one.

Wait... isn't THIS kind of offensive to Brazilian/Pinay people?  This is saying "yeah, they're scammers."  Saying that people shouldn't fall for it doesn't mean people should still DO it!  That's like saying people who open businesses deserve to be robbed, and it's not the robber's fault for doing it.

I find it ammusing that the few English words they choose to learn are cus words.

It's like that with every other ethnicity.  What words do you try to learn in spanish? french?  You would go for the deragotory ones so you have some backing when arguing with these people .  I know a lot of people tend to learn chinese cuss words.  Just like how the chinese would try to learn english cuss words.

im a filipino but a decent one... i like to help ppl but not financially in the game, esp. low rate... what a disgrace having ppl like that but it doesn't mean all filipinos are like that... i only use the Philippine language talking w/ a filipino too... but im all good in using the english language n ready to make friends w/ anybody...

almost all filipinos (maybe 95+%) speak english but you can't force them or anyone to talk english with their peers, it's just wrong. I allow anyone to talk to their native tongues if they feel like but certain laws are also laid... speaking thru broadcaster should be in english. Most of my players are Pinoys and my staff are quite diversed,they're from all corners of of world mostly but speaks english nonetheless, some are even recruited here and they can tell you that if you ask Pinoys to speak english... they will and they can.

Pinoys can be stuborn... yes I would say but have had no problems with most so far. Anyone in large numbers can always be stuborn and no one is exempted... it's just how you address these individuals that can either make it or break it. Treat anyone else equal and do not single out a country or mark a country as mischiefs and all would be well... it's all about respect no matter you're just a player or a staff or even an admin. Single anyone out and brand them as mischiefs and you'll have yourself a handful.

Trust me... if you have a server or would plan to open one and have already classified some countries as mischiefs then you yourself have created and made a problem already.

lets just say the majority of ppl who play RO from the east(ppl from europe/america) just wants to have a good time in ro(communities)
whereas BR's&Pinoy's Like PVP and Woe... If you like woe too then you would do anything to dominate over guilds/ characters.(scamming botting?)

99% of the time BR's and etc =fail. They spam you with random crap and pm's for no reason and they go about making a guild which ends up having everyone hating it cause all they do is bot, ks, and PK noobs. sigh........

Every large server ive played had more english speaking people than any other language.. and thus more of the a****** spoke english than not(due to sheer numbers). The end.
