Broken stuff in RO

well on my server we have 10x5x2x drops. players can get reasonable zeny in a reasonable time. now what im seeing is a high lvl tank takes a low lvl character up to anubis with a ton of ygg leaves and resurrect the anubises for HUGE exp. its expensive in yggs sure, but its super fast exp.

Anubis on 1x Rates gives 28000 Base and 22000 Job EXP. These monsters are Undead property, meaning that Turn Undead works on them. This leads to incredibly fast leveling, even on official rates. Add in the private server EXP multiplier, say 10x base rates, you would get 280000 Base EXP. They respawn quite fast, and many people leech their characters on them, which is stupid. People should just Learn2play their own class. ;-;

Already fixed him, and i'l even add a special filter just for him so that Ygg's don't work on him; without hindering TU

So let me get this straight. Anubis breaks RO because if you're a specific build of one class you can own him easily?
Disable dual clienting and people won't leech themselves. Disable dungeon warping and they will have to go back every time they die. If they still do it, someone else leeches them - that's a game feature, limiting it is pointless.

The only thing I see which breaks RO is the Kafra Shop or equivalent(i.e. donation items).

Anubis Breaks RO because he is too weak to be worth his points.
Effort > Exp Points & he makes 99 chars in a very,very low amount of time...

Also, i don't plan on doing donations at all :/

Yeah, but the only way to EASILY kill him is with TU Priest. Besides you'll spend more time looking for one on the map(with 15x spawn) than actually killing him. Besides if it was a real problem I'm sure Gravity would quickly take care of it since quicker leveling = shorter play = less money. See what they did to Geffen dungeon...

Meh, whatever. Even if it's faster way to 99, it's not exactly gamebreaking. Now see Abrasive, a Kafra Shop item - increases crit rate by 30(60 with Katar class weapons) for five minutes. And nothing drops it in the game. Duh?

anubis basically make every priest go for TU, but they're not so good of a thing for High Priest if you can't skill reset.

sinx soullink/edp/sonic acceleration. one of those existent is fine, but why grav put in all 3 is beyond me. sinx also get pretty insane weapons.

wool+tidal dont ruin it, but take out so many other equip choices.

champs+any server that has sp healer or dungeon lvl warp

just because gravity put it in doesn't make it balanced. I don't think many people will argue about profs dispell working a little too well.

How they make the game is how it is made, not how the user wants it to be.
If you don't like the way they made it, don't play it, or make it like you want it.
They made it to be played a certain way, not however you want it to be played.

Well, getting the items to MAKE the poison bottles, and makign them with the skill is really annoying. Unless the servers sell the bottles in a npc shop, this shouldnt be a problem really.

You miss the point? People are entitled to have their opinion on what is broken with the current RO system. Specially if they have played since beta days, they should have a right to complain on how they do not like the way RO has come and gone.

Saying "gravity made it that way so accept it and shut up" is not... very... uhm. Nice. Not what you said? I guess, but "make it like you want it" is not exactly what this thread is about? I find it pointless and out of touch to refuse people their opinion on these matters o_O;

in respect of the original poster i really don't think by broken he means broken in the conventional sense

and think by broken that he simply means unbalanced or things that need to be changed or things along those lines...

i think the advanced classes broke the balance between classes.  It seems too easy to die if you are a non-advanced class.  How can you have adv and non-adv fight together, for me the casual player that don't have much time to level.  Getting to adv is very hard, but those with a lot of time can get a few 99/70 in a few weeks.  The adv classes became the norm and little me non-adv keep dying under their fists ... sigh ...

now they gonna make what? 2-3 classes? are they mean to be the trans after trans? meaning the non-adv are gonna be even more easy to die? and adv will get their share of the doom pie?  damn.

I understand what you mean, but there it is only logic that adv are more powerful then normal characters, or else. What would be the point of going to 99 then re-doing it, and it's harder the second time..
So it's either you transcend or heavily equip your 2-2,2-1 Character.
