Server suddenly crashed and forums didn't work anymore two days ago.
Then yesterday the control panel stopped working and today even the website
isn't working, saying "this account is disabled".

The server was hacked, all server files were deleted, by old aeRO (the original) players.

I see, that's pretty bad, considering they mentioned having
extra security. It was said they have daily backups though.

The day they were making backups was the day they were completely wiped.  Infact, just before the backup finished, the server files got deleted :s

I warned him personally that using "AeRO" would cause trouble. People never listen. .-.
Sort of sounds like Omi was involved. :p

This makes me physically ill.

It also makes me more than happy that I don't Admin or GM on RO servers anymore(nor do I play RO in general). All this over a name. If I were still part of the Admin/Developer scene, I'd actually be embarassed that I would share the same title with these pieces of trash.

AeRO's "originals" should hang their heads in fucking shame for this. Hope you're happy that you just completely ruined a new server's chances.

The Admin of the server should contact the proper authorities with due regard to unauthorized data access.

She's taking a minor role this time.. she's pretty disheartened after what happened.  Who wouldn't be?  She did a lot of work on her part :/

Wow, that's really sad.  After the old server went down, people tried to make a new version of the old server to give their old players a home, and this is how they get repaid? f*** pathetic.  My regards go out to the admin, hope you guys are able to rebuild it.

It wasn't based off the old server.. the name was just "AeRO" meaning "Wind" :/
