The person getting muted/jailed/ban for insulting will usually call such server a carebear server. But I'm like Zairik on this one, I want my players to play nice and have g-rated conversations.

Besides, I like carebears ^_^

P.S.: JJJ was that server in your example my server? xD
heRO is a great friendly, sociable yet WoE active, unique and fun server of 5/5/3 rates with 400+ players, give it a try!

i really do prefer to keep names out of the issue when discussing things =3
it makes it a lil less bias, and no one gets hurt =P

My understanding of the term must be off.  I understood "Care Bear Server" as meaning a server which enforces playing nice and G-rated conversations. The first time I heard it was when someone called my server a Care Bear server, which I didn't take as an insult, in fact that's kind of what I was going for from what I understood. Family friendly target audience, chat filtering, and not allowing others to harass players or use foul language by muting them. I thought it was funny though, I played a game called "NationStates" once for about a month. I named my nation "The Oppressed Peoples of Care Bear Kingdom". It was quite hilarious to read about the corrupt dictatorship where people were executed in the streets daily (eliminates the need for prisons) and children were forced into military camps at a young age to instill a service to country. Cell phones and cars were banned and people were forced to learn 5 languages and eat less than sanitary food while listening to daily nationalist propaganda. Yes, the rules on my server can be unfair and pointless in your opinion, just don't call it a democracy. I'm the oppressive dictator of Care Bear Kingdom. Have a nice day... or else!  ;)

Yeah, well said..

Family friendly? Lol it's the kids that usually swear and cuss the most..

chat filtering

This.  I hate this.  I wish to edit grfs and clients so I can say my swear words.

it's easy to remove chat filtering... don't think they'd allow me to say it here though =x

Two words, hyper-mall.
Warp Girls can be convenient sometimes, and even though sure, you can warp to geffenia floor 3 with little to no traveling needed, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you're strong enough to take on the things inside.
Healers can be useful just to push the inevitable into the dirt so you can get on with your poring smashing.
But hyper-malls just kill off any sort of feeling of "achievement".

Nothing says "You're a soft, squishy little newbie cake that can't do a thing for him/herself" like a mall that offers everything, including cards, for little next to nothing.

And even if they're overly expensive, what's the fun in buying something?

Sure, you can go off on your hunting/raid parties, but a person with infinitely less skill can buy it all the same, leaving you feeling like you've been playing one of those old Mario Spin Offs (No matter how much you practice, or how insanely skill you are, little Joe-Joe from the 2nd grade still manages to kick your large, bulbous shin).
