Anyone know where I can find them other than the game directory on my computer (didn't work for me) I want to start making comics.

I can't give a example because I all i can find is wallpapers and not actual game sprites of the towns.

I'm confused but if you're talking about the models like houses and stuff, I don't think you can really use those to make comics. They're not just flat pictures

No one says your pictures have to look flat for comics.  I've seen RO comics that used the 3dish looking town, Edited Screen Shots most likely from Browedit.

Yes but the way I understood this thread is that she is looking for pictures of the buildings and other things to pull from grf and slap into her comic's background. Can't really do that with the models, at least not very easily.

If you use BrowEdit and then take a screenie, it might work a bit better...

Yeah, most RO vloggers use browedit and combine it with in-game screenshots. I'm pretty sure someone from one of the private servers is experienced with that (LoL castle guild?). They have some pretty amusing youtube videos, so they'd probably be your best bet to try and ask how they do it.

RO =/= BrowEdit.

BrowEdit is a program people use to create custom maps or do any general map edits. You can also use a feature that allows you to see what a map looks like in-game, which you can take screenshots of, and voila! You have your town background.

You DO need Ragnarok Online installed in order for Browedit to read the grf to pull the maps up.  So unfortunately you'll have to download RO to use browedit to pull up the images.    Unless you have a really patient friend who has browedit who would be willing to get screen shots of exactly what you need.

RMS has separate downloads for just the rdata and the data.grfs.

Oooh, well then yeah if you can do that, all you need is the GRFs.  I've just always had RO on my computer lol.  e.e;

im using tilesets from RPG maker VX and XP since the libcurl dll wont go into the folder for it to run properly
