ROtion on Windows 8

Hello people !

I'd like to ask if anyone has managed to make ROtion work on a computer running Windows 8, as I can't manage to do it.
Main reason is that it was a really useful offline character simulator by taking directly from the GRF, and I can't find anything else to replace it (sorry RMS staff, but the character simulator is a bit outdated, although great)

If anyone have other suggestions for working on sprites, feel free to suggest !
