Ninja+GTB=Invincible?

If a Ninja had a GTB, would'nt they be pretty much untouchable?

I know that the Sniper skill Falcon Assault can bypass Cast-Off Cicaeda shell, but since Snipers cant use a shield, they cant use GTB, so a magic ninja with an average amount of HP could survive the few FA's a sniper could get off before killing him. and the sinx Soul Breaker would be nullified by the Ninja's GTB.

So, generally, wouldnt they be invincible? (or at least a pain in the  butt to pwn xD)

ninja's also have flip tatami which is basically their version of penuma

so with tatami, cicaeda, and a GTB they have the potential to dodge all attacks

You talking about in WoE or PvP? In PvP, yes, they are pretty much freaking annoying, but they don't really pack much punch either :X BTW, doesn't Cart Termination bypass CCS? You just have to get a WS to spam that ~.~

because CCS blocks physical attack, means only magic attack from SD will hit, and with GTB, the magic damage will be nullified too =X

they'd be able to break through pre-casts and set up for all these breakers for emp.
pali enters emp room -> gets through pre-cast no sweat -> high hp makes him hard to kill -> attack pre-casters -> gg

The Paladin will still die if enemy firepower is great enough (Focus fire AD, SB, Asura) >.> 30% dmg reduction is VERY important.

BTW, yes, the magical part of SBK isn't really counted as Magic, it's a totally different kind of damage type. There are a few other skills which are like that too.

P.S: I forgot about Paladins spamming Pressure under Poem. These will own the Ninja FLAT.

It depends on the amount of stats you can get but if it's a regular low rate, stacking ranged resistance on a whitesmith or paladin and then using stun with hammerfall or bash and sight clip to keep them from jumping = dead ninja, GTB or not.  I have seen Ninja's on mid-rates go in and tear up pvp when they got a GTB but ONLY if they had GTB.  If they didn't a prof would just go "We are trying to use the PVP room for what it is supposed to be used for: sitting and talking" and just firebolt their butts out of the place.

Note that a Ninja is really sad in that it's almost impossible to achieve stun immunity and still retain good enough firepower and MHP. This is because of the low HP modifier and limited amount of stat points. In Lowrates at least.

Yes and no. Non-Trans, it's a good HP mod, but after Trans they are something like 3 points above a High Wizard, and they cannot get Wool Scarf+Tidal Shoes...

In fact, all these new items that are "all trans jobs (except Novice)" are kicking Extended Class out, except SL and maybe Glad

I dont think that using Sight on a Ninja would work, because as soon as the Ninja gets hit backwards due to Cicaeda, hes a good 5-ish cells away from whoever hit him, so he could just shadow jump away before the sight user got close enough to un-hide him.

and insta-cast ninjas can deal out good damage quite fast.

Depends who is using sight. If a Whitesmith sights you, you are dead.
Also, hiding has a 1 second cooldown, enough for some people to sight you again.

For the topic, no. Ninjas would not be invincible with a GTB. Too many skills bypass cicada and tatami has such a long cooldown that you won't be able to move without risking a hit.

And just to list all the skills that bypass cicada:
- Cart termination
- Falcon Assault
- Blitz Beat
- Soul breaker/destroyer
- Bulls eye
- Throw zeny
- All magic

BTW, with all these ninja discussions why do only magic ninjas come up? Shadow slash hybrids hold their ground in PvP pretty well due too the fact they are hiding most of the time while dealing consistent damage.
