Need help to protect against ninja's final strike

In woe we are struggling against a ninja who spam berry's and keeps using fs, i am just wondering what is good for protection against it ? Since we all get 1 hit by it. Any cards or gear ?

Right after FS he has 1hp, with fast reaction, you can get him
before the berry. Never got oneshot by that skill though, guess you're
playing some super highrate server...

Our server is 2/2/2 and yea i always  use throw stone after he hit me or somebody else but im not always fast enaugh since he use berry right away.

Wonder why you dont get one hit, even our high priest with 14k hp and decent gear get one hit.

Priest being oneshot, it doesn't. All I know is FS Dmg= Ninja HP. Have yet
to see a ninja with 14k+ HP on a lowrate server. Maybe it's possible with
some of new gear or Tao Gunka card but I've only seen around max. 11k
FS damage on 99/70 servers without MvP cards. If he has tao gunka, I guess
there isn't much you can do. Sounds weird that he can spam berries on a 2/2/2
server though..

I dont think he has tao gunka, about the berry's, our castle investing is a little different. When you get enaugh points in your castles we have these npc's that you can buy different items and stuff from depending on your investment.

If he really has tao, then he should be no problem because he should be frozen every time once he gets near your defense..
..and if this ninja is really giving you troubles specifically, keep pneuma up once he's there =/.. also make sure there's always a storm gust over his head.

I figured so. I don't understand how they can have so much trouble
with 1 Ninja then though. Let's say the HP has Thara+Raydric+Beret, that's
60% less damage. Still he gets oneshot with 14k hp? The Ninja would need
over 30k hp for that and that's not even possible with tao gunka I think.

Yeah, exactly. Ninja should NOT do such massive damage. especially considering the server is 2/2/2.

Actually....at WoE, with F.B., thara and ray, the damage should be cut to 28.8%. Outside WoE it is 48%, that all is compared agaisnt PvM damage (on DH medium neutral, Vanberk for example).

Tried out RODE calc, geared in in ninja as good as possible to my knowledge (With TG, but no more miniboss/MvP cards) and put on a lot of mods, and against Vanberk, in calc the FS damage was 32536. WoE damage then should be about 9k max with all reduces (DEF counts, and Vanberks have low), PvP 15k. So...if he oneshots you at WoE, something is wrong.

+10 MG, tri bloody boned
buffs and effects: lvl10 bless agi, +5 str +3 vit food, Aloevera, Magnum Break (marine sphere card), box of resentment. Final stats: STR 120, VIT 115, rest irrelevant, max hp 18339.

I can't think of anything that would seriously improve FS to point that it would oneshot anyone. Even +10 food won't get it more than few hundred points of damage against players.

It could be that he has some kind of illegal item, maybe created by a gm.



Glad to see people notice things like this and talk about them, not doing anything creates alot of rumors and disturbance through out the server, giving the gm's and some players a bad reputation.

It turns out that ninja is customized. Gs is also gonna be customized cause someone thought they was to weak and become just useless when 3rd class comes out. Although that ninja is just extreme, hes able to do 12k with 60% reduction gear.

And also we dont have any gm so its impossible to have illegal items Our server is runned by players who decide whats gonna happen in the server, and by server owner who do the scripting

i agree with silverstream, his stats may be overboard because of GM edits. (extra statpoints or something like that) bc i think final strike wasnt meant to be as strong as asura. After raydric thara and FB, sarin says the damage is cut down to 28.8% so if he can 1-hit-KO someone with 14k HP, then his HP must be about 14k/0.288 = about 49000 HP, which is pretty impossible even with a tao gunka card.

It seems that FS skill calculation is the same as Extreme fist, so its basically the same as EF, so he does not have 50k hp :S

EDIT: Extreme fist = Asura

from an older thread the calculation is

(STR*40) + (HP*80%)

so suppose his str is 150 [which is a generous estimate] then the equation will be:

0.288[150*40 + HP*0.8] = 14000 [the amount of damage after reductions from FB, Thara and Raydric]

solving for HP, HP = about 53K

Actually, modifiers (hydra etc...) seem to work on FS. Anyway, it still cuts down the required HP to about 28k, but Ninja can't get much over 18k even with Tao and full vit equip.

then everybody gets pissed because they made ninjas for that sole reason
then they complain
then the GM will be torn between putting it back to assuage the masses
or letting it stay nerfed which may cause a mass exodus of players. D:
