For the love of god, people, stop posting topics about recruiting staff on this forum, or indeed any forum. If you really feel the need to publicize the fact you're incapable of running your own server, and as such, must rely on someone you know nothing about as a crutch, be prepared to deal with the consequences, as people who go deliberately looking for GM positions are most likely as dumb as the inept server owner in question, if not moreso.

People offering paid services may or may not be screwing you over, depending on the product. Web designers? There's quite a good few out there; many take time to do their work, and charge quite a bit as a result. Just be sure you're not getting someone elses' website, rebranded for quick cash. If you hire someone to do things such as install customs for you, give up running a server. You're wasting time and letting someone take advantage of your stupidity.

Nothing fits at all, the fonts don't fit, the colors don't fit...

Looks pretty bad.

The stretched images are worst.

Blunt but true. I believe there should be an overall theme for the website. It looks like... a merging of randomly selected pictures. I do like the girl picture, but the colours of each image should blend or go well with the rest of the website.

i dont like anything...
the girl image is poorly rendered, the banners are streched, the colors are awful, the main banner looks photoshoped by someone that doesn't know how to use photoshop, none of the images make sense together. and I agree with Abversen, free templates are zillions times better than this.

Colors don't go with each other. Random and stretched images making it look like a bad collage. It needs a lot of work.

That just made me frown.. And the current layout's better (not that god awful splash screen, but the green one). No offense, but hire someone to design your site for you. Web design should NOT be something you attempt to dabble in.

And no, I'm not available. Hire Meimiko. She's the only designer on here or eAthena besides Renn who doesn't use the same-fucking-template for all their designs. And her prices are reasonable.

The design itself isn't too bad, it's just really busy. Splash pages shouldn't have a lot of links too. It should always be kept simple.

Take IntenseRO's splash page for example:

Simple, elegant, and to the point. A splash page shouldn't be designed like it's a website. It should just be a page with links to the sites within your network.
