What is wrong with RO?!

Okay, some friends of mine wanted me to try out RO. We found all of the files needed in order to play (patches and all things related). When I try to start the game I am given this error...

I have tried changing my regional settings, getting patches from different places, trying different clients, etc. However, no matter what we try, the system will NOT allow it to play. Somebody please help me figure this out, I really want to play this game. Thanks.

Funny, because I JUST posted something on this. I'm having the exact same problem. I think we both have ragnarok and all of the files installed, but we still get the .pal error, I can't figure it out...

perhaps you need a newer one to play that server. those errors usually occur when server asks client to look for a file it doesnt have.

It would be best to ask on the specific server's forum what version is needed.

No, no. This isn't somone ELSE'S...This is my OWN server XD. The problem is, I make a novice on an account lets say, and it runs smoothely. However, when I try to log out, it gives me a .pal error and never lets me go on that account again, just keeps giving me a gravity error. A ton of people have this problem when creating P servers, and I have no idea why ;.....;

I believe the problem is with your client. I had that problem before when I was messing around with my own server. Steal an updated client from another RO server (but don't call it your own and distribute it =P) and see what happens.

put it in the ro folder.
and use spatchreader, rosakfix, and then alt sakray.
