Patch wont's start for both kRO and Sakray
« on: May 02, 2009, 11:05 pm »
hey all~!
all these time I had no problem patching.
If the client wont patch or faulty, I'll use the Client Patcher or the one that Valhalla made

Anyway.. I left RO late last year to focus on my study and now I'm returning back.
I'm trying to patch my RO but I can't. Both Sakray and kRO
I tried using the client patcher too but it didnt work.
The error message that I got was: "Connection or socket error occured while reaching patch ftp server. please check your internet connection or proxy setting"

this is kinda weird coz I'm always too noob to change these settings XD; so i always leave them as it is
And the only thing that I think probably caused this was the fact that I changed my antivirus from AVG to Avast @_@;;
Does avast put up a firewall or something? But after googling and all.. I read that avast doesnt have firewall in the first place orz

do help! T_T /sob

Well you could give it a try on patching with the 1210's sakray.exe and ragnarok.exe

http://hosted.filefront.com/ratemyserver/2368168

Download those two ragnarok.exe and sakray.exe (they are from a 1210 installation).  Replace them in your RO folder.  If the patcher still won't run, then you have to get the whole sakray 1210.

If you think Avast! is stopping it from patching, just disable it while it patches.
