Downloads in parts?
« on: Oct 20, 2009, 09:58 pm »
I've seen this virtually everywhere. When a file download has some size to it, such as the .gpf file in the RO folder, sometimes the hoster will split the file into parts. I've seen it in the client download section of the RMS site too. I use 7zip, but every time I try to extract the file it says "file is broken". How do I merge files like that??? I can't figure this out, do I need something else??

.gpf can't be extracted by 7zip i think.  For the RMS downloads you just have to have all the files downloaded, put them in the same directory, do not rename any of them and you should be able to extract them with winrar / winzip / 7zip.

WinRAR dose that on some things... Make sure you have "Keep Broken Files" checked (if it has it.)
