Having problems with a different connection type
« on: Jun 17, 2008, 08:26 am »
Hey, i'm having problems trying to connect to a private server(Eternity)... a message always show "failed to connect server" after i log in with my id and pass and I've tried various way to fix the problem.

In the end, i figured out what the problem was, but i don't know how to fix it. I'm currently using a broadband wireless modem (a small device with an inserted sim card, connected to the computer via USB port) and i'm not able to log into RO with this. However, I WAS able to log into the private server when I connect online via LAN or wireless network (router).

My RO seem to not know that i'm connected online in a different way, but when i play World of Warcraft, i can log in with it. I don't have Lan modem or wireless network, just my USB device. Does anyone know how to fix it?

wait is this a problem with connecting to RO in general?

or a problem connecting to your specific server? (if so i'd move this to the junk yard but im not sure at this point XD)

I think it's with the connection with RO in general...
