Getting patch_allow.txt - Failed to retrieve patch_allow.txt

Title says all. I've been away from this game for two years now, and I am foreign to the new downloads. Today I downloaded all twelve pieces required, and extracted the nine files required. Then I extracted the two rsu-kro-rag/renewal-lite all in the same folder.

This is the message I get when attempting to patch the rsu-kro-rag-lite

I would love to delete all of it and just re download it in the morning. But I've already wasted 5 gigs doing so....

Tbh, I don't even want to dedicate my life playing this game again, all I want to play is the test server just to feed my craving. If someone could walk me through it or even show me/tell me if i'm doing anything wrong that would be awesome.

Consider it's Wednesday you might just ran into their weekly maintenance window.

Also just noticed they changed the patcher location so you should get the 08-12-2011 patchers to place your current 04-06-2011 rsu patchers (links updated >> http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_kROLinks).

Then you should be able to patch all the way to August.  I just done it and see no problem in their patch server atm.

Ahh I see, I never saw this yesterday, they might have updated it.

UPDATE: If you downloaded before August 25th, 2011.
You must download the new patchers (2011-08-12rsu-kro-rag-lite.zip & 2011-08-12rsu-kro-renewal-lite.zip), replace them in your RO folder and run them to get the latest patches. Links below are updated.

But I still don't know where to get the 2011-08-12rsu-kro-rag-lite.zip & 2011-08-12rsu. I will update this if i figure out. Which I think I have.

Update: yeah i downloaded the two things on the rapidshare link and all it really did was change the dates of the rms-kro patcher.... It still says the same thing.

Also I've noticed in the steps it shows a picture on what it should look like. In my picture I don't have a lot of emblems that should be popping up. For example in my picture I don't have the FORMAT.CFG emblem. Does that possible mean the file isn't downloaded properly?

Some files and folders are generated when you first login to a server, emblems and the others shouldn't play a role in your patching.

Could it be permission problem?  Is your RO folder and the files inside writable?  are you using an administrator account on the comp?

Edit:  Actually was just patching my other installation on my comp and also on the test server at the same time.  One patching one fails to connect.  I think you should just try again at different times of the time.  The rsu patchers used have no connection issue, that might be new.  Keep trying.
