Do Robo Eyes crash the game still?

About a year ago, using shift and clicking around while having robo eyes equipped would crash peoples clients (including the players'), and people used this to take down most of pronteras population including autotraders. I never saw it done in WoE, so I don't know if it worked.

Has this been patched since?

The only reason why it should error you is if the act or spr files are screwed up on the users clientside, or if the server is telling the client to read the wrong files. A simple fix would be disabling the item.

xD robo eyes is a really oldish item at this point, if you patch you really shouldn't have a problem with them
